He sang “Truth” in Tel Aviv and led Azerbaijan to their first top ten result in six years. And now, Chingiz Mustafayev has released the music video for his new single “Bir Sözlə” (“In A Word”), which is the singer’s first new song since his Eurovision appearance earlier this year.

In the song, Chingiz shows off his great vocal ability and unique singing style. The sound of the Azerbaijani language fits him perfectly, and the pop track becomes more powerful thanks to it.

The track itself was originally released last month. But, the Azerbaijani star finally dropped the music video for the song earlier this week after it premiered on MTV Azerbaijan.

The music video shows the bearded singer walking around beautiful landscapes in more traditional clothing. However, this is also interspersed with shots of him in casual attire, playing guitar and vibing to the song.

Later on, the setting becomes darker as Chingiz is seen setting foot into a dim, distant location. But, the light returns for the end as the song progresses from a Caucasus-influenced refrain to a slightly rock-oriented climax.

The video was filmed in Antalya, Turkey, and certainly makes use of the natural beauty the setting has to offer. Nevertheless, Chingiz still knows how to keep focus on him and steals the show with the dashing looks that captured the hearts of many fans at Eurovision.

Ever since the Azeri singer uploaded the official video to YouTube, he’s naturally been promoting it everywhere.

On Instagram, Chingiz’s 176,000 followers saw a preview of the song. He encouraged his fans to look up the full version, and they certainly approved of the new song’s sound. In the comments, his fans praised the Eurovision star’s vocal ability, as well as the lyrical content of the track.
