Belgian regions Wallonia (with its broadcaster RTBF) and Flanders (with its broadcaster VRT) have taken turns representing the country at Eurovision since the contest was born in 1956. But recently we had the chance to see what happens when you bring the best of these two regions together. Loic Nottet (ESC 2015, RBTF) and Laura Tesoro (ESC 2016, VRT) performed a dazzling duet for the Belgian charity Rode Neuzen Dag.

Roze Neuzen Dag (Red Nose Day) is a yearly fundraising event. It’s organized by broadcaster VTM, radio station Qmusic and Belgian bank Belfius. Every year the event has a different goal and in 2019 the focus was on “making youth more resilient”. The event was organized in Flanders’ biggest venue — the Antwerpen Sport Paleis.

Eurovision stars Loic Nottet and Laura Tesoro performed a duet of the song “Someone You Loved” — the hit single from artist Lewis Capaldi.

Laura and Loic not only showed how strong they are vocally, but also demonstrated how in touch with their emotions they are. We don’t know about you, but this gives us goosebumps.

Loic also brought a new version of his Eurovision 2015 song “Rhythm Inside”. The more up tempo and even more contemporary version may leave your head spinning! No matter how you cast this song, it’s still a banger!

It’s just the latest swerve on innovation he’s thrown at us. You’ll remember that Loic recently released a new EP and Halloween-themed short film.

The Belgian event also drew guests from over the border. Duncan Laurence — the reigning king of Eurovision — performed his new single “Love Don’t Hate It” to support the cause.During the event, the “Arcade” hitmaker received his plaque to mark his song going platinum in Belgium. While he was in the country, he also gave two concerts in TRIX as part of his ongoing tour.

Are you blown away by the duet of Loic and Laura? Do you have tickets to see Duncan Laurence in your country soon? Let us know in the comment section below!

These performance prove that Loic belongs to the stage. He is multi-talented man, who still isn’t as popular as he should be. He should be a Superstar touring around the world!

I was at Duncan’s concert last Monday in Warsaw, it was wonderful, he’s not only a talented artist with many great songs but also such a sweet and lovely human being, he decided to make a group photo with us despite what his team was reminding that he was sick

I was at the Sportpaleis ;the duet that Loïc Nottet did with Laura Tesoro was awesome ! And the new version of Rhythm Inside is very funky. I went to the 2 avant- première concerts of his new tour and it was really fun and funky. Loïc Nottet is a true artist who’s really born to be on stage. He’s really multi-talented. If you have the opportunity to go to his concerts, don’t hesitate. It’s really worth it. On the 25th of April 2020 he’ll perform in Vorst Nationaal- Brussels. Nothing can beat the atmosphere of a concert in his… Read more »

Wow! Duncan is the best artist who won the Eurovision in history. I think Arcade is the best song ever who won Eurovision, and by saying that: The Netherlands is by far the best Eurovision country in sending massive songs. Look at Glennis Grace in 2005, calm after the storm 2014, slow down and Lights and shadows!

The Netherlands is like Barcelona in Champions League

Loïc’s shoulder moves are to die for. 🙂
He’s the only Belgian contestant who’s capable of re-entering the contest and winning the whole damn thing.
