Semi-final three of Melodifestivalen 2020 takes place this evening in Luleå. Seven acts will perform with the hopes of snatching one of the four places that allow them to advance in the competition. If it were up to you, Mariette and Mohombi would be going away victorious.
The top two of tonight’s semi-final will head direct to the grand final, with the next pair getting passes to Andra Chansen.
You read the media reviews, heard the snippets and watched the rehearsal clips too. We asked you to vote for your favourites and you made your voices heard.
Mariette is your favourite to win semi-final three of Melodifestivalen 2020
If it was up to you, Mariette and Mohombi would go direkt to the final. Meanwhile, Faith Kakembo and Drängarna would have to battle it out in Andra Chansen.
After counting a total of 809 votes, Mariette came out on top of the poll. Her song “Shout It Out” received 261 votes, which is 32.26% of the total. If Mariette does secure one of the top two places in the semi-final, she would become the first Melfest participant to ever go straight to the final with all of their first four entries.
Mohombi is your other winner of the semi-final, picking up 218 votes (26.95%). After finishing second in his semi-final last year, it seems you’re hoping he can do a similar thing this year. The “Winners” singer also topped last night’s Melodifestivalklubben audience poll.
Securing your first Andra Chansen spot is Faith Kakembo. She earned 145 votes (17.92%) for her song “Crying Rivers”. Faith competed in P4 Nästa last year and, although she didn’t win the Melfest wildcard, she’s certainly still making a good impression on many fans.
Drängarna are your other Andra Chansen qualifiers, securing 73 votes (9.02%). They’re bringing Swedish folk back to Mello, and it seems like it’s a welcome return for some fans.
If the final result were up to you, that sadly means that the remaining three acts would not move forward in the competition. We’d have to say goodbye to P4 Nästa wildcard entry Amanda Aasa, Anis don Demina and Albin Johnsén.

Should not Sweden aim for songs in the Swedish language? I hear this quite often. But appearantly that’s not what wiwibloggs followers want when they vote.

I hope Mariette goes to the final (WAIT, hear me out) because I think it is unfair as if she is in a duel against someone in AC she will win automatically because of her name.
