Eurovision 2020 has been cancelled — but the singers and their songs are still on loop. And on the evening of May 13, we’ll celebrate them all at the Wiwi Jam at Home — our Alternative Eurovision 2020 celebration.

Yep, we’re moving our annual concert from the host city of Rotterdam to the Internet. It will feature shout-outs and/or performances from the stars of ESC 2020 (and, in some cases, ESC 2021). For obvious reasons, this year’s show will follow a different formula in the sense that there is no formula. Some artists are singing their songs in their entirety, while others have chosen to send you words of encouragement during these difficult times, while performing a section of their Eurovision song. But no contribution is too big or too small. The artists, just like all of you, face new and specific challenges. What’s important is that they are sending positivity from their home to yours and celebrating the Eurovision that would-have-been.

In addition to artists from Eurovision 2020, we also have several special appearances lined up from other artists from the world of Eurovision — both past and present. We’ll reveal more artists in the days ahead. But as of Monday afternoon, we had received clips from these Eurovision 2020 stars.

I’m looking forward to this even if some of the performances have already been shown for the Spain Pre-Party or Eurovision at Home editions. Most have been really enjoyable. Looking forward to Samanta Tina.

These aren’t from those concerts. The artists are heard saying Hello Wiwibloggs in the teaser. If they’re singing at their home again, i guess the setting is the same.

Yep, some of the artists have recorded their Wiwi Jam appearance at the same time they’ve recorded segments for other online events. 🙂

Hi! I don’t know if it’s possible, but I’ve come up with an idea.

Why don’t you guys contact former artists from all the participating countries, asking them to rank their Top 10 entries (not their own country, of course) and make a Jury ESC?

I know it’s hard and everything, but would you guys consider it?

Wiwibloggs will be doing something different and we can’t wait to tell you more about it. 🙂
