Six acts will compete in the grand final. As with the earlier rounds, the end result will be determined by a 50/50 voting split between an expert jury and the public.  The finalists are:

  1. Evita Cololo “Be paslapčių”
  2. Gebrasy “Where’d You Wanna Go?”
  3. Martyna Jezepčikaitė “Thank You Very Much”
  4. The Roop “Discoteque”
  5. Titas & Benas “No”
  6. Voldemars Petersons “Never Fall for You Again”

Past Shows

The first two weeks saw 20 acts compete across two heats. Heat one saw five entries leave the competition, with another five getting the chop in the second heat. Show two also included a performance from last year’s winners The Roop. Due to the cancellation of Eurovision 2020, they’ve been given a direct pass to the final. The guest appearance was to ensure that the Lithuanian public would be familiar with “Discoteque” when the final rolls around. The ten qualifiers from the heats performed once again a single semi-final. Five of these made it through to the final.

Fingers crossed it’s The Roop. They really deserve it after proving they’re talented and capable to deliver 2 hits in 2 years consequently. As much as I like Gebrasy’s song, he still may have his time. After all, The Roop didn’t win after the first attempt, so it proves that anything is possible. I also like Martyna’s song, although the original name (F*CK YOU VERY MUCH instead of THANK YOU VERY MUCH) was more on point with the staging and lyrics. Titas & Benas are sweet boys (especially Benas, yummy!) but I find their ballad too cheesy and nothing special.… Read more »

Exciting!! I’m wondering what will the show consist of – two hours and six competing entries of roughly 18 minutes altogether. I am thinking Eurovision 2020 and cancellation, participants’ presentations, competing songs, juries’ assessements, guest performers. I am also thinking audience involved somehow.
Also curious about Ieva’s styling and fashion – she looked great all three weeks thus far.
