OGAE Poll 2021 leaderboard — 23 April
Today’s second set of results increases Switzerland’s lead slightly, but Gjon’s Tears is still only narrowly ahead of France’s Barbara Pravi who continues to gain ground on the current leader. Malta remains in third, while San Marino and Lithuania round out the top five. Though these few countries are close at the top, there are still 31 clubs left to vote in the OGAE Poll 2021 — so anything could change.

What do you think? Will Gjon’s Tears maintain his lead? Sound off in the comments below.
Gjon looks like Celine Dion from the 90s
All aboard the bandwagon
“Gjon’s Tears is still only narrowly ahead of France’s Barbara Pravi who continues to gain ground on the current leader.”
A point of semantics: did Barbara gain ground on Gjon if he got more points than her in this round of voting?
(No.)
my increasing confidence in Switzerland is based on a very strong sense they will score top three in both jury and televote. I can’t say the same about Malta and France. This could be another Jamala/Duncan type year.. Wins neither but amasses most points.
Another day, another 12-pointer for Gjon
Azerbaijan is a mistery to me…
Ukraine too, that song scares me.
Tomorrow, vote from Ogay France, so another 12 points for Switzerland.
How does it make your comment any funny when you want to speak of an ESC fan association referring to the hypothetical sexuality of their members ?
What’s the point exactly ?
Cuz casual homophobia is still ‘hilarious’ in 2021….
Not.
I honestly thought that OGAE voters would put mindless pop from Moldova over the one from Azerbaijan.
I think Moldova is the best bop this year. Czech also.
Azerbaijan is so overrated
2 articles per day for these OGAE polls ?
Now this is getting out of hand !!!
I’d rather we get more articles about the contestants themselves , rather than the poll whose end result is the only thing that matters and even that is debatable to some !!
There are 6 other articles posted today that are not about the OGAE polls. So these posts probably do not reduce the number of other kinds of articles. And the faster we have gone through every country’s polls the faster this is over and you can stop complaining about it.
I for one would have wanted a bigger article on the pre-party performances . That was clubbed under the Daily digest getting two paragraphs because Oliver had to write 2 OGAE poll articles. Obviously the number of other articles are reducing because someone has to solely focus on this.
But you don’t have to read every article, just skip the one’s you don’t care for.
I do care for this article. I would care more for other articles. I don’t want those articles to be skipped.
Why don’t you create your own ESC website?
I don’t have the time or the resources.
You know you don’t have to read them, right? You can just skip them..
OGAE voting will now be more and more for each day, since they all vote now. If you don’t want them then don’t click on the articles about them. There are other articles..
Lol , I’m asking more more detailed articles on other things rather than detailed articles on this. This is ESC related. I don’t dislike this article. I dislike the fact that more interesting things don’t get a detailed article because someone has been assigned to do this article and not assigned to do an article on let’s say ” ESC concert in the dark ” performances.
Well destiny will still get 2 articles , just wait.
They are literally almost all voting the same right? Feeling so cultured when voting Switzerland…
Conscious or not, they vote, mostly, for he top 10 of the bookmakers.
It makes me so happy to see those points to Russia
1/3 of Israel’s population speak Russian and when you understand the lyrics, it is easier to vote vor Russia. Thus the results.
Also the song was written by Israelis.
yes, but I don’t think average viewers care about nationalities of songrwiters.
