I don’t see Malta, Swedish-pop product, winning. It’s not enough original, it may work for Benji or Mans who get best of the songs. Not in Malta’s case. After Sobral, Jamala and Duncan wins we already know people don’t buy it. So either Switzerland or Lithuania.

Not surprise if we will get Televotes like this. I dont think San Marino will be in the top 10 with jury

If you consider the OGAE voting as a ‘clown’ one, why do you praise the OGAE branches that are giving their top points to France and Switzerland ?

We know you’re a troll, Im so fab. Just stop now. People got your point. Make comments about something new now.

What mistakes ? Tell me what is wrong in supporting Destiny ?

And yeah, I’m still here. But I’m not the one trashing people tastes. Cause the OGAE results are a reflection of people tastes. Not everyone, but still people. If you don’t like those kind of articles, stop reading them instead of bashing em everytime. We got you. You can rest now.

People keep saying that this is pointless and won’t reflect the real results, but looking at the top 5 I feel like this is pretty much how it’s going to go.

A funny thing, the sentence “EXCUSE MY FRENCH” means “pardon my bad language” which is used in the song Je Me Casse. It’s something like “What a jerk!” and then, “Excuse my french.” The sentence in that lyric is inconsistent. I don’t know, you use french in your song and then you choose to insult french language in this way? Just curious about how French people would react when they hearing “EXCUSE MY FRENCH”.

I’m french I don’t get what you’re talking about, I think french people will actually find it funny (in a good way), because the “je me casse” is this song sounds very sassy.

So you’re ok with them treating the french language as the f word? Shame on you.

I’m half French and I didn’t get your explanation of ‘excuse my french’. As a French-speaking person, ‘excuse my french’ means what it means: excuse my french. Never heard somewhere that it meant ‘f***’ or something else.

And your personal and weird meaning of it (‘f***’) doesn’t match the rest of the lyrics. So I don’t get why you’re mad about that simple sentence.

Ok nice to see some love for France and this kind of chanson but the Ogae members since 2016 always put France in their top and at the end nobody vote for France the D-day and it happens only for France each times, the others countries in their top did very well almost each times, it means they had votes from the fans, but France never, the best result in televote was Amir in 2016, he was 9th in televote which is not exceptionnal. Alma, Madame Monsieur got love too from the ogae members (not from the bookies though) and… Read more »

I have a feeling that Barbara will be higher in the televote this year than the other French acts the previous years.

Let’s hope, fingers crossed, Amir got the same amount of love as Barbara during the pre contest, and ended 9th in televote in the contest, it’s not bad but a little bit disappointing.

Y’all really need to calm your tits. Just because others don’t share your favorites, doesn’t mean you have to hate. It’s just fun. Also, so happy to see Croatia doing so well! The song deserves more recognition!

Dont you all get tired of bashing every Swedish song year after year? Had it been any other country you would all have it in your top 10. But since its Sweden its of course “overrated” and “only do well because of juries”
Yet you have no problem praising other entries who are generic or written by Swedes. Like San Marino

The real question should be “Don’t the juries/bookies get tired of overrating Sweden every single year?”

Helene

They are not overrating since Sweden have been in top ten the last ten years. That is a fact. The reason is Melodifestivalen. There are hundreds of songs that are sent in and evaluated there are shows that people invest in and vote for their favorites. So in the end the song that wins is something that people in Sweden like. It is the same with Italy. So you are wrong. Sweden is not overrated by the bookies. Neither is Italy. But of course you can never know. This year it might be a flop. But bookies look at the… Read more »

If both Croatia and Serbia qualify, they will share the votes of ex-Yugoslavia public:
Slovenia giving 12 to Croatia and 8-10 to Serbia
Montenegro giving 12 to Serbia and 8-10 to Croatia
Macedonia giving 8-10 to Croatia and 8-10 to Serbia
Croatia giving 8-12 to Serbia, and Serbia giving 8-12 to Croatia

Correct, but the dark horses are not concluded by an inaccurate predictable political voting, I would rather check the bookies or the fan-votings which are, at least, closer to reality

That’s so true, look at Zero Gravity two years ago; No OGAE club voted for it and then it ended up becoming a favourite to win after one rehearsal and one it’s semi final.

Yep, same with ‘You let me walk alone’. Came out of nowhere to finish 4th. Also nobody ever ranked ‘Hey Mamma’ as high as it eventually finished.
