In their Eurovision 2021 song “10 Years”, Iceland’s Árný Fjóla and her husband Daði Freyr celebrate their marriage and how they’ve “got a good thing going.”
And on Monday the pair revealed that things are about to get even better as baby number two is on the way.
Árný shared a series of snaps on her Instagram account and quoted their Eurovision lyrics in the caption, writing: “Our love finds a new way to grow!” She punctuated it with the hashtag #20weekspregnant.

In the photos Árný can be seen in a floral dress, resting her hand just above her baby bump as she stands on a rock by the sea. The blue skies and gentle breeze definitely suggest happy days are ahead for this singer-in-bloom.
Daði’s Insta post was a tad cheekier. He shared a snap of his beloved wife in her adorable monster outfit from their Eurovision 2021 music video, with a Power Ranger figure touching her bump.
He wrote: “Me and @arnyfjola are expecting another baby in september ❤️”

We wish the couple nothing but love and happiness as they await their next tot!
Árný joins an esteemed list of women who have performed at Eurovision while pregnant.
They include Estonia’s Birgit Oigemeel from Eurovision 2013, Malta’s Ira Losco from Eurovision 2016 and North Macedonia’s Jana Burceska from Eurovision 2017.
Jana kept her pregnancy a secret in the weeks and months leading up to the contest, and says she was able to keep her energy up for most of her tour.
”I was already in the good condition with the promo tours and all the interviews I did on those long days in London and Amsterdam especially…So I think I did pretty well.”
“Sometimes while hanging out with the delegation I always wanted to make these pregnant women jokes, but I was like, ‘no one knows, so you better control yourself.’”
Why negative comments? This is why I still love USA and their citizens. They love family. What is wrong with this? Eco means respecting nature, we don’t need anyway all the food we can buy, or all the clothes……Look at yourself.
how do you know if all those stupid comments are not made by US citizens? Why do you think Europeans don’t love their families? And what does being eco to do with this?
They also love guns
Cringe
So cuuuuuute ! I wish them the same amount of happiness that they are able to bring to people with their songs !
let’s think..
Conclusion: yes, you should know them!
This information is not directly related to Eurovision and to the musical careers of artists, so I think that this advertising is completely unnecessary and impossible. Otherwise, every performer would have something to say about their personal lives. I don’t think such articles would be published.
still it’s not the answer for the ‘im so fab” question…
Really annoys me when people like Hatari and Dadi act all moral and radical but then still push out babies into an already heavily over-populated world for the sake of having a kid with their own genes. Just adopt for christ’s sake, god knows there are millions of kids who need loving homes. But I guess this just proves their ‘activism’ and morals are purely performative.
Oh seriously f___ o___ !
this comment is just the epitome of ew
If feels like someone has brain aneurysm once they finish reading this.
I’m pro adoption, but sometimes people have bedroom fun and a baby just happens protection or not, deal with it.
Also the world being overpopulated due to too many people having kids is a myth stemming from ecofascism
what kind of mentality is this even supposed to be. adoption is a choice, not mandatory. wanting a child of your own genes is rightful and valid. the lack of interest in adoption should be tackled in a different manner. a lot of ppl who want to adopt a child need to go through so many processes that they eventually give up. gay adoption is not a thing in eastern europe for instance, and a lot of infertile couples are struggling to get permission for other reasons. this has nothing to do with someone wanting a child with their own… Read more »
You absolutely know nothing. In Europe, the population is declining year per year, especially in countries like Poland, Portugal, Iceland, Greece, Bulgaria and others. So it is better to encourage all of them to have children so that the population will remain stable (because the population decrease will destroy the economy of any country). The overpopulation is issue in countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America, where people are not educated about protections or anything and they have as many children as possible to see them survive and become adults who will help them when they’ll become old. There it… Read more »

Oh that’s lovely! Congratulations to both of them!
It’s an absolute travesty that Katie Price isn’t on the list of pregnant Eurovision performers!
But she never competed
That’s the travesty!
Or blessing, depending on how you look at it!?
Congrats guys!
