Anyone else outside of the UK having trouble creating a ticketmaster account? It took me forever to prove that I am not a bot and now I need a UK phone number to complete my registration…
I registered yesterday, it was without problems, I think there was the option to choose the country you are from and then write the phone number of your country

Package 1 – available for the six preview shows only, this package offers access to a backstage VIP lounge 2 hours before the show begins. All food and drink before the show is included and you will watch the show from a top tier seat. Package 1 will be available to purchase from Ticketmaster UK on Tuesday 7th March.
Backstage VIP lounge? What’s that lol

Hopefully the high prices will make people not try to buy tickets lol
Who am I fooling? Everyone wants to go to ESC shows regardless of the costs!
OGAE fan packages are extremely expensive (the most expensive ever?) 1,000 pounds for 3 tickets (live shows) cmon? and the seats won’t be like the best (behind green room, not in the sides).
BUT the problem is accommodation. How can BBC EBU and local Liverpool authorities not address this issue? Prices are ridiculously high (i’;d rather go to Thailand than Liverpool to spend over 1k in accom lol)

I absolutely adore Graham Norton and I’s love to see this guy live on the Eurovision stage, but these prices are ridiculous. It looks like the promised “Brexit money tree” is a deciduous one. BBC and the government shouldn’t be that greedy.
Ahaha, yeah. Seriously though, after the tragedy of Manchester Arena a few years ago, I completely understand the security concerns that justify the regs. Purple Maskless is preferred to the possible alternative , obviously.

Can someone tell me whats going on with the accommodation prices in Liverpool. Nothing has been said since Liverpoool was announced as hosts and prices shot up and Liverpool Council were going to look at alternative lower price options. Also i was hoping to travel by train and now it looks like they could pull a strike on the eve of the Grand Final!! Any suggestions anyone if im lucky enough to get a ticket?
I’d try to avoid trains. Accommodation is CRAZY in Liverpool. That’s what we’re paying when EBU selects a small city and not a bigger one with more options. BBC didn’t want to award the right to host to Glasgow and Manchester because of their mayors (plus independence ref in Scotland). Same for London.

I live in tranmere and my parents also agreed to get me tickets, I’m so excited!
it’s very popular every year. I remember last year it was sold out along with the live show GF. But you should rely on fans reselling their tickets via ticketmaster.

Does anyone know what the actual prices are. There are wide differences in what is quoted on different news outlets. Some stating the grand final tickets start at £80 and not the £160 quoted here?
£160 the cheapest ticket for grand final LIVE show.
£80 the cheapest ticket for grand final jury show.

Hmm… I saved up over 1200 euros over the past year, so… I don’t really care how much these things cost. I’m headed straight for the final and only an unfortunate position in the queue can stop me! xD
The A category tickets in Athens 2006 costed 250 euros.
In Belgrade 2008 for all 9 shows A category the cost was approximately 300 euros.

Obscene prices. Especially so considering the audience are actually providing a service to the producers. An audience is necessary for atmosphere. Buyers, you are being ripped off to cover production costs. This is not fair. Tickets should be free!
It’s no wonder we see the same faces in the audience every year. I’m generalizing about one demographic here, but these prices only suit those with a high disposable income. Public broadcasting should not be like this.
i can see many fans with kids going to ESC (there are family shows and jury shows you can attend)
Also it looks like people with kids go to extremely expensive events and concerts like Madonna/Beyonce/Taylor Swift plus Olympic Games, football games that are in line with Eurovision prices. PRIORITIES.

Ahhh the first year I can afford to go and tickets are on sale at a time where I’m busy. I hope my friends can get an extra for me when they try.

The cost of tickets is an interesting thing, because I live in the UK I have no sense of how the exchange rate impacts visitors from Europe for hotel and contest tickets but I imagine the UK is comparatively expensive. If we compare to other ticket prices in the UK, I have just seen a West End show where the average ticket was £200. I’ve booked to see an arena show and the tickets are £120. I’m also seeing a musical in a regional theatre where the ticket is £80. The ABBA experience for a mid week ticket cheapest price… Read more »
I just had a look at prices for comparable events at that arena, and tickets starting at £160 for the live final is a total rip-off. The cheapest tickets for Elton John, the Pet Shop Boys and Andre Rieu (all happening this year) are £50-£60. That is for nosebleed seats, but still, I don’t see how they can justify charging three times as much as that for, presumably, the same seats for Eurovision.
a bigger venue would provide more variety in prices. O2 arena for example has different sections that the prices would’ve been lower than the Liverpool prices.
they did not release a seating plan, you need to wait until Tuesday

I found a few Ukrainian friends because if your friends are you more likely to get a free ticket the shameful way the government BBC the EBU giving free tickets and the rest of us have got pay
Yes. If you haven’t been forced to flea your home, leave behind family, friends, communities, careers, all thanks to the threat of missiles being dropped on you indiscriminately with no knowing when you may be able to return home and whether you will have much of a home to return to, then yes, you should have to pay for your tickets.
You know instead of blaming Ukrainians for being forced to flee their countries for their safety, you could have something called E M P A T H Y.
Also every year, there are some free booked tickets for the ones working at the broadcaster, friends of local politicians, etc. So yeah go against those free tickets if you want instead of going against those given to people who lost everything.
So much for inclusivity with these extreme ticket prices. The highest ticket price for a rehearsal show compared to last year is literally more than a €100.
They’ve waited this long to release ticket details and then we can’t even see how much you have to pay for which kind of location in the arena?
Hi, is anyone able to post the link? I can’t find it anywhere on Ticketmaster. Thank you.

I’d love to*
Brexit was a scam, we’ve known that since 2016 but that’s a different story.
It’s sad that these prices will prevent many casual fans to attend the shows. At least the rehearsals should’ve been much cheaper.
Amongst the list of banned items this year is all types of masks, presumably including purple ones.
Purple Mask, you’ll have to go Purple Maskless !
Ahaha, yeah. Seriously though, after the tragedy of Manchester Arena a few years ago, I completely understand the security concerns that justify the regs. Purple Maskless is preferred to the possible alternative , obviously.

I’m planning on getting tickets for final, I already asked my parents and they agreed, plus I live nearby(Tranmere)
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of the chances of getting a ticket to the jury GF? Thank you

Who do you mean exactly?
People without children, or other heavy fiscal responsibilities.
i can see many fans with kids going to ESC (there are family shows and jury shows you can attend)

It’s not my fault this happened who cares everyone should pay for the tickets
You must be a joy during the holidays…

they did not give away free tickets, you liar. Also, the spread 3k tickets to ALL 9 shows including rehearsals.
They are taking the pi ss with those ticket prices! This is prices for a 3 days festival and accommodation unacceptable
they’re pretty much the same as every other year….
it’s getting worse every year. Turin was cheaper.
So much for inclusivity with these extreme ticket prices. The highest ticket price for a rehearsal show compared to last year is literally more than a €100.

And ticketmaster is a… choice. Considering their reputation.
Expect paying 5-6 different fees on ticketmaster.
