What do the “Music” lyrics mean?
Stay Tuned’s song is performed in both English and Dutch, celebrating music as a universal experience that transcends borders. The song encourages listeners to find their voice, be confident, and sing, as music has the power to bring people together. This is reflected in the lyrics: “No one could hear me, I was singing secretly to myself / But now I step forward without fear.”
The song also touches on the comforting power of music, particularly during difficult times: “I felt lost but the music got me.”
The chorus echoes the idea of unity through music, aligning with the sentiment of “United by Music.” It suggests that people should sing in harmony and embrace the unifying nature of music, which is described as a universal language: “Everyone understands the language of music.”
