Serving up some more holographic realness. IVAN from Belarus has just completed the second rehearsal for his song “Help You Fly” at Eurovision 2016. The staging for this performance is absolutely phenomenal. Where Russia throws absolutely everything into their performance, Belarus keeps it high-tech but it pushes the envelope just enough to make it exciting.
The first rehearsal for IVAN’s performance was so good that there really wasn’t much to improve on. The only noticeable change, and for the better, is the use of shadows on the LED floor during the second verse. It’s quite eerie and spooky but it does suit the mood of the song perfectly.
A lot of people in the Eurovision bubble don’t rate Belarus’ song or their chance at qualifying, but the staging of this song really does take it to a whole new level.

Amazing! IVAN is really exceeding expectations. Definitely a potential Top 5 finish at the grand finals.
This will definitely reach the final and I gotta admit that I enjoyed watching it.
can he not qualify just because of the staging thanks
This proves that ESC is not just a SONG contest, it’s FULL PACKAGE contest, and the staging is HUGE part of that.
Belarus is amazing. I always liked the song, but this visual performance makes it much stronger. Very elaborate and tasteful, unlike Russia’s overload.
All three Eastern Slavic countries are powerful this year, Belarus being the most underrated as usual.
@MAE2016
It’s just envy. They understand full well that Russia will win, so…
It’s so sad that people say “Belarus should qualify” because of its’ staging but then they say “Russia doesn’t deserve to win” because of the same reason…… Double standard much??
This is how you use technology. This is just much smoother and better looking than the other big tech presentation from Russia. The start will be stunner on TV. Easy sure qualifier, possible winner in this semi.
Amazing. I would change his clothes and the way he makes the moves during the hologram part, they should be more natural.
WOW!
Incredible staging! The final for sure!
“Serving up some more holographic realness”
lol this doesn’t even make sense, i get you’re all deliberately overusing this word now but how can a hologram be real?
His vocal gets much better as he grows into the performance and as for the staging, wow! Definitely one of the more impressive sets this year and definitely suits the song.
This could….qualify! It probably deserves to!
I really like it!!! Hope it qualifies to the final, it deserves it and the performance is flawless!
