Euroclub was the place to be last night, as the stars descended for the Eurovision 2016 opening ceremony. Singers, dancers, TV hosts and mentors from 41 delegations (Norway abstained due to Agenete’s health issues) walked the red carpet under the glare of the world’s media and adoring fans. The entourages were all smiles and waves as they paraded by, but this is Eurovision. It’s a contest, and even on the red carpet competition is fierce. Which stars were dressed to impress? And which ones were victims of a fashion car crash? We’ve collected photos of each of the acts, and y’all can rate them a “Hit” or a “Miss”. I like that we see many different styles on the red carpet. Men also wear colors other than black, which is refreshing. Yeah, not all of the styles work, but come on, none of them is THAT bad.

@OR he done nothing bad on me. But you are always campaigning for him on Wiwibloggs, even in articles that have nothing to do with him, making out that he is the best person that ever lived. And no, I might not know him personally, but the videos I’ve seen of him, and the interviews I’ve seen of him show me a side to him that I just find annoying. Checked the Dutch media about the ‘issue’ and it’s really not that bad. Just Douwe being Dutch and saying something to Hovi that he didn’t like about him… In some cultures that is acceptable (maybe not in Israel). Douwe could have been more diplomatic, Hovi could have been less drama queen, but I guess they both need some attention from the media…
And: Douwe did not say the homophobic incident didn’t happen in Russia

Here’s a better idea.
We realize that both Hovi and Douwe are big boys and can work out their little pissing contest between themselves, and focus on matters that are significantly more relevant.
Also, can everyone calm down about the Douwe Bob -Hovi star incident. Nobody is perfect and not everybody is going to like someone. Stop fighting, it’s quite sad. This time next week the whole thing will be over.
And also, use because Hovi is gay, or dresses differently to everybody else doesn’t mean he has to be treated differently to everybody else. That includes when he does something wrong. I don’t see how Douwe is a homophobe just because he told him to stop doing something. But anyway, best of luck to all the contestants.
