The new girls on the scene certainly rocked our weekly Eurovision 2015 poll, as Bojana Stamanov and María Ólafsdóttir placed in the top three in their first week in the voting. Of course, the lady of the hour was, once again, Nina Sublatti. She has never lost our poll since debuting in January.

EUROVISION 2015: FAVOURITE ACT SO FAR RESULTS (FEBRUARY 17)

1. Nina Sublatti, “Warrior”: 1,447 votes, 31% (=)
2. Bojana Stamanov, ““Ceo svet je moj”“: 602 votes, 13% (New)
3. María Ólafsdóttir, “Unbroken”: 531 votes, 11% (New)
4. Trijntje Oosterhuis, “Walk Along”: 444 votes, 8% (-1)
5. Amber, “Warrior”:  371 votes, 8% (-3)
6. Elhaida Dani, “Diell”: 312 votes, 6% (-1)
7. Lisa Angell, “N’oubliez pas”: 263 votes, 6% (=)
8. Daniel Kajmakoski, “Lisja esenski”: 243 votes, 5% (-4)
9. Mélanie René, “Time to Shine”: 171 votes, 4% (-3)
10. Anti Social Media, “The Way You Are“: 121 votes, 3% (-2)
11. Uzari and Maimuna, “Time”: 120 votes, 3% (-2)
12. Giannis Karagiannis, “One Thing I Should Have Done”: 83 votes, 2% (-2)

Total votes cast: 4,708

Nina is polling much the same numbers here as she has in recent weeks, which means that her fanbase is dedicated to this cause. Bojana and María seem to have picked up their votes from the other acts – in particular, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Amber. Our Maltese warrior in particular lost close to 8oo votes from the previous week’s poll: no matter how you look at it, that’s nasty y’all!

Elhaida Dani‘s “Diell” ends its Eurovision life cycle in the top half of the poll, with confirmation having come through that Elhaida is changing her song altogether now. Both Elhaida and Lisa Angell polled higher numbers than in previous weeks which would seem to be a good sign for them.

Lower down the rosters, Daniel Kajmakoski takes a big hit, whilst the other acts have also given away a handful of voters each to the new girls in charge.

So, what do you think of the results? Are you surprised to see Bojana and María doing so well and do you think that any of the four acts joining the next poll – Elina & Stig, Il Volo, Vaidas & Monika and Aminata – can finally topple Nina Sublatti? Let us know in the comments or on our Twitter!

I still don’t think about Bojana being able to earn a higher place in the semis/grand finals. Look at what happened to Crisalide before… and even to the song Same Heart (if this can also be applied to Nina, I don’t know). It may prove me wrong as their live national selections performances were evidences however, given their vocal capabilities. The polls in this website and even on other websites (Youtube, other ESC websites) can have little influence in the contest ranking. This is an observant kind of point of view.

@ Ok i dunno if how many of Georgia’s votes are real BUT i believe that many have to be real…I think that even without the suspicious votes Georgia still would be 1st.. There was an issue about the votes of the poll of Georgia’s NF as another contestant Misha had gathered tones of fake votes.. I question about the actual reliability of the wiwi poll at least to FULL 100% degree though.. I do not think at all that Nina herself must be behind that action of course as i saw her votes anyway on the poll 4 the… Read more »

Georgia – this is not serious! Look at some youtube personal charts – mostly Nina gets low places.

Yesterday I watched about 20 videos: in 4 videos 1st place was Latvia (and top 3 in other 3 videos), 3 videos had Estonia at #1, 2 videos – Italy, 2 Malta and 2 Serbia. Cyprus, Georgia and Macedonia was the only countries that didn’t get 1st place from anybody.

Anticipating Estonia to take the lead next time, but I can’t see Nina dropping much further than that!

I don’t understand the fuss over Nina Sublatti at all, her song makes me cringe. That said I am so happy that Il Volo and Stig&Elina will be at Vienna, I was starting to lose faith.

Latvia would be my number 1 if they had chosen Markus and Iceland would be my number 2 if they had chosen Fridrik. I’M SO UPSET.
Okay I can understand Latvia’s choice but Iceland ??? Maria’s song is the biggest trash this year. Everything, from her barefooted forest princess looks to her childish annoying voice and cliche lyrics is for junior eurovision. And they chose her instead of Fridrik’s lovely romantic song which would melt thousands of hearts and make people fly to their phones to vote…tasteless vikings.

Lets see if Georgia still wins the poll when the entries from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Ireland, Slovenia, Hungary, Moldova, Italy and Spain (March 1) enter the poll! 🙂

Just wait til Elina and Stig get added to the poll! I think everyone who is getting hacked off with the Nina thing, should go crazy voting for them since they are INCREDIBLE, then the Warrior reign will end 😉 I don’t think either Nina or Bojana will do as well as is being predicted here, especially Bojana. I don’t think she’ll even qualify, the song is absolutely dreadful. I seriously think this poll is going to change though, once the Baltic songs are added, all 3 are genuinely fantastic and will make a huge impact in the contest. Latvia… Read more »

Not surprised about Bojana and Maria, I think they’ll do very well at ESC. I also predict Elina&Stig and Il Volo will have a very good debut.
