Wiwi: Emma Marrone has major sex appeal and undeniable soul. She’s herself and she doesn’t care what y’all think. I love that attitude—and her powerhouse vocals. Today’s performance was slightly more mellow than I anticipated, but perhaps she Emma is just saving energy so she can let rip in the grand final. She WILL own the stage. The lighting scheme is very white and bright, so I imagine she’ll wear a bold-coloured dress to stand out and POP. My favourite part is when she walks down the runway. She lives it, breathes it, owns it.
Anthony: Emma started off wearing a blue/purple-ish and yellow jacket, before deciding to take it off after her first run-through of Italy’s rehearsal. There’s a bright colour scheme of mainly black and white for the LED screens and Emma even makes use of the catwalk. Judging from today’s first rehearsal, vocals aren’t exactly outstanding or awful either, especially considering Emma’s meant to unleash her inner rock chick. I’m beginning to doubt on whether Italy can actually continue their top 10 Eurovision streak this year.
Patrick: I don’t like it – in fact, I hate it… To be honest she can’t sing very well – even with training she won’t do it any better! The staging is just disgusting – nothing new and a total mess… I expected a lot more of Italy and for this performance they earn 0 points from me…

I truly expect and hope she’s saving her voice for the later rehearsals AND the final. This song rocks and she deserves recognition. Unfortunately not every singer can give their all time after time after time; too many repetitions 😉
