Before she flew to London to enjoy her second pre-party experience, Francesca Michielin was promoting her Eurovision entry “No Degree of Separation” on native soil.
The 21-year old singer is living her moment in Italy and making the most of the ESC adventure.
After her explosion during the last Sanremo Music Festival – where she placed second right after the band Stadio – the Italian girl climbed to the top of the charts and made several appearances in Italian media.
On Friday night, she was the star of Radio Italia Live, a programme dedicated to live concerts aired by one of the most famous Italian radio stations in the country.
Francesca sang many of her certified Italian hits like “L’Amore Esiste”, “Distratto” and “Sola”… and for sure, “No Degree of Separation” (in the full Italian version)!
Supported by her band, the next Italian representative delivered another striking performance of her entry.
There was no pressure since it was her own concert. In the middle of the song she even made the typical Eurovision heart with her hands. Europe, she’s ready!
Since they changed the voting system, I have made money every year on Eurovision. I am on a profit of £20,000 if this wins, but the each way bet will still give me a grand profit. I think Russia will win however, and Austria for a top ten finish. Two years ago I had money on Netherlands at 650/1 on the betting exchange. I had them ew of course and made money. She’s adorable and I love her song. Italy are rapidly becoming one of my favourite Eurovision nations.
Francesca’s creative director in charge of her stage performance is a Danish woman, who also worked with Conchita, The Common Linnets and Aminata. Great news, guys! 😀
Francesca looks stunning, and this song sounds more amazing every time i listen to it
Italy was robbed last year, with Il Volo they were perfection and should’ve won 🙁
i’ll score this song a perfect 10/10

Hi, i’m a huge eurovision fan from the Netherlands, i also give the countries scores during the semi-finals and final, and then i’ll score on Performance, Looks and voice 🙂
This is the song that has grown on me the most since it was picked for Stockholm. I didn’t get the hype about it, now it’s one of my favorites.
Oh wow, stunning voice. She should have won the San Remo title.
It’s in my Top 5….. So sweet and real.
Italy very rarely disappoints. I consider them the best Eurovision country of all times because it’s not only about winning, but having solid results. Check out their record. They always stick to their roots and send quality entries. I see some kind of pride from being the cradle of lots of great composers and musicians from the past. Music is a serious deal in Italy. I wish we would take our industry that serious in Spain. I’m still a bit mad that Grand Amore did not win last year. The emotions were flowing in those 3 minutes. Hard to see… Read more »

What an original contemporary contender song, another one of Italian great song, honestly they are adding quality to eurovision sending original entries unlike most other countries copy previous winners. Italy best of luck to you you got my vote
Love this song .. My number 2
If it’s going to be a surprise win this year, it’ll be Italy.
