Forty-three acts all share the same singular goal: to win Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv. We won’t have a winner until May 13, but we’ve already been looping the tracks (and their revamps and remixes) and watched this year’s contestants drop live performances all over the continent. As we countdown the days until the grand final, we want to know: Who is your favourite to win Eurovision 2017?
Do you agree with the bookies that Italy, Bulgaria and Sweden will battle for the win? Do you think that Belgium and Portugal could ride their wave of hype to upset those at the top of the odds table? Or do you think it could be an epic year for Moldova? Wherever you’re from and whoever you’re backing, now is the time to tell us who you’re behind in our poll.
As in all of our polls, you can vote for as many of your favourites as you’d like. Just check the box next to each of them before pressing submit. You can only submit your votes ONE time, so choose carefully.
Please note that we have included Russia’s Julia Samoylova in our poll, as she is still recognised by the EBU as Russia’s contestant. Should her participation change at any point in the coming weeks, we will update the poll accordingly.

The CROATIAN song is by far the best song this year.
Listen to this:

BULGARIA <3
My Top 2
1. AZERBAIJAN – Skeletons
2. BULGARIA – Beautiful Mess
After weeks of listening to many songs many times, these are the songs and artists that deserve to win. These songs have longjevity. Dihaj is an art queen with style, charisma and a voice and song to kill. Kostov is a future talent that nails a brilliant song. Two artists with a certain aura and raw talent that commands a stage and captures an audience. All the best to all contestants, may it be another great and wonderful Eurovision. Much love to all.

9.65 Hungary (9.64/9.66)
9.62 Portugal (9.60/9.64*)
9.58 Macedonia (9.58/9.58)

9.45 Romania (9.42/9.48)
9.44 Sweden (9.48/9.40*)
* National contest performance
The best song is Flashlight of Kasia Mos from Poland. Great voice, emotions, beautiful woman…yes, I think so.
Bulgaria
Sweden
Denmark
UK
Australia
should get very high votes, and the rest are so forgettable, and Italy wont win
FINALLY SOMEONE TO SAY THAT ITALY SHOULD NOT WIN. IM NOT ALONE
After my second evaluation, here is how my top 10 looks like:
9.60 Italy (=)
9.56 Portugal (+3)
9.56 Hungary (-1)
9.54 Macedonia (=)
9.50 France (+4)
9.49 Finland (-3)
9.45 Bulgaria (=)
9.43 Estonia (-2)
9.39 Sweden (+1)
9.37 Norway (-2)
One final evaluation next week.
Italy won’t win, it’s a novelty song. Macedonia song sounds good in the music video, but she sounds terrible live and dances like my mother.
The only two true artists in this competition that need to be taken more seriously that will sound amazing in the live arena are
1. Kristian Kostov BULGARIA
2. Dihaj AZERBAIJAN
They are my two standouts, hopefully they climb your rankings in your next evaluation. Peace! 😀
Bulgaria, maybe. But for Azerbaijan, with their intimidating background vocals, the music alone would qualify the song for the final, but the video is lousy and brings the score down. I wish the lyrics were better for the chorus.
Bulgaria :3
what’s the meaning of the italian song? The ape symbolizes the Western civilisation’s decline and the natural world. Some key phrases ( translated) from the lyrics: 1) everybody thinks they know everything thanks to the internet, it means that we despise intellectuals, we are ignorant and arrogant, e.g. if you want to undestand terrorism, globalisation etc you should read a 200 or more page book by a scholar, you can’t just search the Web for 2) ( Darwin) evolution trips over, which means we are not better than our ancestors or apes( natural world) I think Gabbani’s song is a… Read more »

The best songs this year : 1- ITALY 2 – ROMANIA 3 – FRANCE !!
thx (I am from romania)
Bulgaria by far is the best this year!
So… The Final ESC Version of Levina is out now. It sounds very nice and her beautiful voice is so powerful.
Maybe she will do better than expected?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AufW4F4KBfU
I understand Italy is on top based on their studio version, but hearing it live is like a total difference, especially after they cut it for Eurovision, now it sounds like a sun without heat.. It misses to me the best part of the song. I think many forget that Live performance counts too. Therefor I think Bulgaria, Finland, Netherlands, UK and Portugal will end up higher than anticipated right now
Macedonia, Italy, Portugal, Malta, Ireland ….
overrated Italy is terrible this year, so overrated, Uk, Bulgaria, Sweden, Denmark so many good songs. vote for music not for joke songs
SLAAAAAY
My Top 3 are:
1. Denmark (Anja Nissen)
2. France (Alma)
3. Macedonia (Jana Burceska)
Anja and Alma have amazingly beautiful songs and can also sing live with great stage presence. They have beautiful voices naturally. Jana from Macedonia has the best song and clip of them all, its modern, contemporary, catchy but she struggles singing live and does not have a strong stage presence and dances awkwardly.
So Denmark’s Anja is the winner for me. Can’t wait for Eurovision! So excited every year! I’m Greek so will be cheering on Demy!!! She’s a sweetie 😀
sorry but Italy isn’t that good this year, so they probably wont win, don’t know what the hype is with them.
my votes from the UK
12 points – Sweden
10 points Denmark
8 points – Bulgaria
7 points – Australia
6 points – Belgium
5 points – Albania
4 points – Greece
3 points – France
2 points – Ireland
1 point – Israel
For me Italy and Belgium are so overrated and Switzerland and Hungary are Underrated.
My top 10:
1. Bulgaria
2. Switzerland
3. Cyprus
4. Sweden
5. Australia
6. Moldova
7. Poland
8. Azerbaijan
9. Finland
10. Hungary/France
Italy, Bulgaria, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium and France are the final top 6 at the final, but it’s hard to say who wins. In my opinion:
Juries:
1. Portugal
2. Sweden
3. Bulgaria
Televote:
1. Italy
2. Bulgaria
3. Sweden
Italy is very likely to win but If Russia doesn’t go to Kiev, then we will be in Sofia next year.
Totally agree with you. Now that we’ve seen all the live performances I can honestly say that it’s gonna be a bloodbath between these 6. I have a feeling that they will end as follows :
1. Italy televote 1 juries 2
2. Belgium televote 4 juries 1
3. Sweden televote 2 juries 4
4. Bulgaria televote 3 juries 5
5. Portugal televote between 6 and 10 juries 3
6. France televote 5 and juries 8
I have my favorites, and I have my grades, and in a few cases, they don’t always match.
Here is how I see the lineup after my first round of evaluations this week, for song AND video (if no music video, then I use their national final performance or first live presentation):
9.48 Italy
9.47 Hungary
9.42 Finland
9.42 Macedonia
9.41 Portugal
9.37 Estonia
9.37 Bulgaria
9.37 Norway
9.36 France
9.34 Sweden
I do this again, a week from Monday, with Georgia’s new video to be evaluated.
maybe u should hear this version, then you understand what i meant.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwT85PKF1kc
No Thad u are not the only one. I like her, too. first i didnt liked it but after i heard her in london live i have to agree with you. when she is singing live, she is one of the best this year. the song was a little different to the song before. a little faster and the instruments sounds different. i think she will impress many many people in the grand final with her voice and hopefully there will be a band in her background. 12 points from france
Hm… I see, im the only one that likes levina from germany. in my opinion she is in top 5 of the best voice and vocals. her live-performance is amazing and she looks so beautiful. i know that the song is not the best but the meaning of the song is a thing that we all have to learn in our lifes. “Sometimes its wrong before its right”. we all make some mistakes but in the end it goes in the right direction.
CROATIA IS THE BEST ENTRY IT IS ABOUT THE SONG THE MUSIC. NOT JUST THE STAGING.
IF THATS NOT THE CASE RE NAME IT
EUROVISION STAGING. CONTACT.
My top 5
1 Italy
2 Sweden
3 France
4 Belgium
5 Hungary
I agree that this year France is not so inspiring and I don’t see why so much hype.
BTW guys, there are some really nasty comments floating around. Do we really need to be so aggressive?…
As I am now going through the videos of the Thursday semi, I just watched Jana’s “Dance Alone”. Absolute genius! Depending on what they put on stage, this girl had better qualify.
Sorry and UK very good live singing @@@ Sweden and Italy very medium live singing – so difficult to say how qualifying them @@@
After Eurovision London party worst results : Belgium , Macedonia (singing from playback…..), Latvia,Montenegro @@@ Best results with best live singing: Poland , Denmark, France, Norway,Malta, Bulgaria @@@
Always 3 times in April and early-May, I listen to each and every one of these songs and watch their music videos (if no music video available, then their national contest performance), and grade them. This week is my first review. I am hearing 14 songs for the very FIRST time; and though I will not be finished reviewing the contenders in my first review until Saturday night, I must say that Salvador may very well be the first Portuguese entry to finish in the top 5. I think Macedonia will qualify this time, because the music for Jana is… Read more »
Armenia is so overrated in this poll. That doesn’t look realistic. I voted for Italy, Portugal, UK and Montenegro.
Favourite? Always the same, every year the same countries above the table although they carry bad songs, they vote for being neighbors, politics etc. Spain better song than many of the ones in the top 10.
I can’t stop singing “I Feel Alive” by IMRI (#Israel). Such a good and fun song!
Hungary and Portugal are clashing for number one for me – even if they will flop with staging they will live with me this year. Yet another bunch of song I’ve voted for that are making my top but it’s relatively smaller than last year. Hopefully I’m not wrong about Serbia, would love to hear that power recreated live. I do like Alma’s rhytmic pop with chancon’s note, especially when she’s made it easy in London’s pre. UK is good and I finally loved australian entry, first for three years. Belgium, despite of singer, still is a pleasant cozy song.… Read more »
It’s doing well here but I just don’t see Portugal picking up many public votes at Eurovision.
@catarabi
these are really catchy songs
@Mark
thank you for the support 🙂
right now i hope his mother will do something to stop that girl to break his heart
https://ro-ro.facebook.com/Darina-Yotova-and-Kristian-Kostov-857023701085667/
agree, bulgarian girlfriend is horrible, that sort of facebook girl that looks like a duck. i would be happy for him to be fake relationship, but i don’t think bulgarians care to create fake relationships for teenagers stars. he is just naive if he thinks she wants him forever.
We have three songs that have choruses that are not actually words
-Hungary – Jaloma…Loooomma
-Romania – Yodeleeeeeo
-Belarus – Hey Hey Hay Yay A Ho
My top 10 from U.K is :
1 ) Romania – Yodel it Europe – amazing , great song !
2 ) Israel – Fantastic song 🙂 Masterpiece
3 ) Hungary
4 ) Sweeden
5 ) Greece
6 ) Italy
7 ) Bulgaria
8 ) Armenia
9) Russia
10) Belgium
And the winner of 2017 is ROMANIA 12 points 🙂 Good Luck Yodel it Romania !
Thx for the 12 points 🙂
Malta is under rated
@l’oiseau
you are an useless t u r d and, your comments are some s h i t!

The most overrated song this year: France.
So basic and tuneless…
@ Dragan – what kind of messy media stunt lmao
I like Bulgarian Kristian Kostov, but I don’t like his girlfriend Darina Yotova (too much make-up, injected lips, some kind of Bulgarian Kylie Jenner).
I really like Portugal and…I don’t think it is going to change while I continue listening to the songs. Belarus (2nd), Hungary (3rd), Norway (4th), Croatia (5th) are also good ones that I hope do good and that I wouldn’t mind winning. Here are the rest of the songs in my top ten so far (I wouldn’t necessarily want these to win, though): Moldova, Ukraine, Albania, Italy Switzerland. I really hope Portugal gets a place they deserve. I liked their 2015 entry and was gutted that she didn’t make the final. Their song this year so…different and timeless and it… Read more »

As a pure “song” contest, there are so many good songs in 2017. But…
Italy still tops my list; it just has everything all put together in the right way.
From the London live performances, I would say watch out for Poland, France and Norway. (Austria’s Nathan is amazing, but the song lets him down IMO.)
