All eyes on Tel Aviv. This weekend, the Eurovision fortnight begins — with delegations, press and fans flocking to Israel for Eurovision 2019. Together, we’ll see who will be the successor to Netta and which song is our next winner.
But before anyone gets their hands on the crystal trophy, all 41 artists will have multiple rehearsals, to ensure their live performances are on point.
And now we know the rehearsal schedule for 2019. Rehearsals will start a day earlier than previous years – with first rehearsals starting on Saturday, May 4. This is to accomodate a day off on May 8, across Israel’s Memorial and Independence Days.
Dress rehearsals, jury rehearsals and the live shows run from the afternoon of May 13 until the grand final on May 18.
Check out the full schedule for each day below. All times are in Israeli local time (i.e. CET+1, GMT+2):

As ever, you’ll be able to watch our rehearsal reactions and press conferences on YouTube – along with our returning livestream, upgraded for 2019!
When is the big5 allocation draw?
waiting for Malta . go Malta ur the best .
on memorial day for us dutch, glad we dutch don’t have to rehearse on May 4th then
This is so exciting, this year’s win is so open. I can’t wait to start seeing some of the staging 😀 This is where we will see acts sink or swim. I’m giddy with excitement hahaha
Robyn and Suzanne?? Yas!
I need Robyn on the ground! She is the “good soul” of wiwibloggs 😀
Yeah, only Maruv could have play aginst them for the victory but you know… arf.
Maruv robbed from the trophy, so sad
Will Wiwibloggs be doing the livestreams during the rehearsal schedule like last year?
Best of luck to every contestant!
21:00 CEST (meaning countries like Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands but not the UK)
Go to bed Florian, it’s late.
It suddenly got REALLY close. I can’t wait!
Yeah, I have that feeling too!
It’s like getting ready for Christmas.
Having university semester finals week the same week as Eurovision feels like being too stressed to enjoy your Christmas because you have a butt ton of shopping to do and also your monster in-laws are coming to visit
Ugh In two years I’m going to do my exams For high school (i’m 15) but I already KNOW it’s going to be in the middle of Eurovision and I’m already annoyed.
I’m 15 now and I have my end of high school exams in the middle of Eurovision this year. (From UK)
Okay, now let’s analyze the rehearsing schedule. Who are winners and who are the losers of this schedule?
Roko and Tamta better go to bed early. Have their two rehearsals at 10am.
I think the Automatic qualifiers are the biggest losers. They have no time to work on their performance really if something goes amiss with the 1st rehearsal
Their rehearsal should have taken place before semi 1 ka second rehearsal
Cyprus , Montenegro , Finland , Croatia , Malta , Lithuanai also are having to wake up early for both their rehearsals…. They also losers
Will you be allowed in the arena this year and publish videos during rehearsals like before 2018??
There’s been no official word on this yet from the EBU. I’d say it’s unlikely that this will have changed back to pre-2018, but if it has, we’ll be sure to film rehearsals!
Thanks for the update
Thunder and lightning, it’s… well, you all know how it continues!
To melt the ice ?
No more ….
Can’t wait for rehearsals to start!!
So excited! I hope you will film the rehearsals for us nerds <3
And Chris, I can’t wait to hear your 15 minute rant trying to justify your score for Italy… 😉
Finger crossed for all of them. Hope it will be as good as esc 2018 at least. I would love if it was as good as in 2016 but it is impossible without Petra :p
The hosting of Esc 2018 was not a good year by any means. Excellent songs. Bad hosters, including the women robots and the country itself.
It will totally be better than 2018
“including … the country itself” lol go away
Portugal is wonderful and Lisbon is a great city to visit. Extremely friendly and welcoming, particularly for LGBT people.
Can’t wait for Saturday!
Tamta first , fingers crossed
Good luck !
Thank God you stopped the “Replay Slay” thing.
Too hurry !!! 🙂
Ayeee it’s almost here periodTTTT 😀 *starts twerking for no reason*
Argh ! This is getting a bit on my nerves dude
Sunday 5th April? I assume that has to be May? 😉
