Lys Assia, the first-ever winner of Eurovision, has emerged from hospital and resumed her ranting. Last year she told us that Switzerland could have gotten some points in Baku if they had chosen her instead of Sinplus. Yesterday in the press centre she told wiwiblogger Deban Aderemi that the producer behind Switzerland’s current contestants—the Salvation Army band originally known as “Heilsarmee”—stole the idea for the group from her. Oh, snap! Sounds like someone is still bitter about not advancing with that rap song….

You can read our song reviews on the Wiwi Jury page. Then read the lyrics to this year’s entries on our contestants page. And then vote for your favourite contestants in our various polls.

Honestly, I don’t get this lady. Yes, she won the first ESC, but no contest winner has shown so much arrogance as her.

She saids that after the talked about the Army, the producers came up with to idea to send them. They didn’t ‘stole’ Lys’ idea!
