Danny Saucedo, Sweden’s answer to the Ken doll and our favorite “forever a runner-up”, has gifted his fans with an acoustic version of his 2011 hit “In Your Eyes”. And by gifted we mean that he is giving it away for free. Given the ongoing recession that’s a real treat, y’all! (Shout out to all our readers in Greece).
Danny recently seduced Eric Saade’s ex-girlfriend Molly Sanden, so perhaps there is something in her eyes that made him want to take this dance number and slow it down. Dude wants to savor every moment…
In my opinion, “In Your Eyes” is his best song, eclipsing his Melodifestivalen entries “Amazing” and “In the Club”. This acoustic stroke of genius has made it even better. His voice shines through and his treatment carries a lightness that has me pressing REPEAT. He needs to do this more often. His acoustic version of “Amazing” was amazing too.
The song is still not available on YouTube but you can listen to it below and download it for free on Sound Cloud.
What do you think? Should Danny go acoustic at MF 2014? Will he be third time lucky this year?

I don’t know where it is gone. It was there yesterday, right below like and share option.
As for the In the club acoustic,I prefer In your eyes more.
I can’t find where to download it… 🙁 but this is really awesome!
This isn’t -quite- as awesome as the live acoustic performance of “In the Club” at Moraeus Med Mera, though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUdSKtW5nwA
It’s not exactly what you’d expect from the word “acoustic” either… 🙂
