WATCH: A Dal singer Viktor Király collaborates with hip-hop star DMC

Once upon a time a Hungarian singer collaborated with an American rapper and they made a fierce song together. But this ain’t no fairy tale…

Viktor Király (a competitor in A Dal 2014) and DMC (one-third of the American hip-hop group, Run DMC) put their heads together and the result is “Running out of time”.

Viktor is competing with the song—without the rap section—at A Dal, and he may represent Hungary at Eurovision 2014. DMC is currently in Hungary filming a video for the song, perhaps in a bid to drum up support for his friend.

Viktor had a #1 hit on the Hungarian charts last year and this new song may be his next…

I love it, but I do not think the rap is necessary.

This is my personal favourite of the 30. Very catchy, radio friendly, can appeal to many countries, but he needs to make the live vocal sound full and powerful, and have the stage presence and charisma for the camera. He should get himself one of those retro capsule shaped microphones on a stand and dance a bit.
