Mihai Traistariu, who placed 4th in 2006 with “Tornero”, is considering entering the Eurovision arena once again. He just released the lyric video of his ballad “I’m Sorry”, written by Andrei Tudor (who also wrote “Pe o margine de lume”, which represented Romania at Eurovision in 2008).

Mihai, an insecure and famously fickle artist, isn’t sure whether he should submit the song to Selectia Nationala in the face of tough competition this year. So he decided to ask a Romanian tabloid to publish a poll in order to help him make up his mind ahead of 14 February, the day when the window for submissions in Romania closes.
We thought that maybe we could help him by asking you whether you think “I’m Sorry” is a good choice for Romania this year, also taking into account the other public bids thus far – “Miracle”, “Breathe” and “Steaua din vis”. After voting, you can sound off below!
[polldaddy poll=7792381]
Lyrics:
Into my eyes you’ll find my thoughts, my fears …
There is no song to dry my tears …
The time has come for us to say goodbye …
Goodbye !
Chorus:
I’m sorry, girl, but our love is gone !
Tomorrow, maybe, you’ll find someone
to love you more … cause you know, deep down,
that I’m sorry …
but I’m not the one !…
I’m sorry, girl, but our love is gone !
Tomorrow, maybe, you’ll find someone
to love you more… but today it’s hard
and I’m sorry …
You’ll have always a place in my heart !
Don’t lie yourself, it’s wrong, don’t try, don’t you cry …
The time has come to say goodbye,
Goodbye !
Chorus
Bridge :
Don’t lie yourself !
Our love is gone …
… is gone …
Chorus

I like the song. It does not have the strength of “Tornero”, but I think it’s very good.
He is great and his song is really good, but he deserves even better – only the best. “Tornero” is the best Romanian song to date and Mihai was great then, but stage presence and his outfit should have been better. I’ve listened to “Miracle”, “Breathe” and “Hearts Collide”, but I like his song the most. His voice is fascinating me. 🙂
This kind of song is what ESC needs now. It is original and with a strong live performance can be a real threat for any other entry in Copenhagen. I like it!
I really like it, so far is the best. And I think it can do a great job in Denmark.
It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not going to win over the powerhouses Paula Seling & Ovi (even though I don’t like their song) and Stefan Stan & Teddyk. And if Alexandra Stan participates just forget it.
I think that he can participate but his song is terrible.Maybe he can finish 2nd because of popularity or 3rd and 4th.
I like it. Way better than “Miracle”, “Breathe” or “Steaua din vis”. With a modern contemporary dance http://media.onsugar.com/files/2010/12/50/4/1107/11070751/3d05f6c347f5e94f_dance_1.jpg and great stage presence and outfit will do well. Good luck, Mihai!
He is a great talent. But the song is not good enough for him.
‘ Insecure’ is EUROVISION ‘ jury to vote by political criteria.
“An insecure and famously fickle artist” ???? Traistariu is a big voice … although many people are afraid to admit it.Even Bieber songs like him.
Go’ Mihai !! Another great song from you. I beleive this song can bring ESC to Romania in 2015 !
I don’t like it that much. It falls flat from Tornero 🙁
Don’t like the song and I hope he won’t participate for his own good. Loved Tornero in 2006, but voted for option 3 here!
I imagine it’s a good song if you like that sort of thing, which I really don’t. But didn’t he say that he would only enter again with a song that would win the whole thing? I don’t think this is that song.
We would love to hear your voice again in Eurovision and the song is great
What a bizarre excersize; there’s already a public poll in the selection itself.
He may intend to foster positive hype, but it seems more likely to sour public opinion against him, reducing whatever prospect he had.
But then, I’m not Romanian, and last year’s Selectia Nationala was full of surprises.
I don’t think the song adds much by way of diversity, but neither is it bad (I have nothing against anomalous English from foreign artists).
Whether his doubts are genuine or manipulative, he should not enter because he is not sure that he should.
