Since March 20 our readers have cast a total of 15,968 votes to determine who will win the first semi-final at Eurovision. At the moment we’re gripped in a post-Soviet battle at the top with Armenia and Azerbaijan out in front.
At the moment Armenia’s Aram Mp3, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday, is on top with 5,025 votes, or roughly 31%. He’s led our poll from the beginning, but Azerbaijan’s Dilara has started a fire and is narrowing the gap. Dilara, who we spoke with at Eurovision in Concert, now has 20% of the vote.
Sweden’s Sanna Nielsen, who recently changed the lyrics of her song, is in third with 9% of the vote. Hungary’s Kállay-Saunders, who will lend his voice in the animated film Rio 2, is fourth with 6%.
Latvia’s Aarzemnieki, who recently told us all about honey cake, are in fifth, followed by San Marino’s Valentina Monetta, who recently played with one of our bloggers in an amusement park. Video coming soon!
The Netherlands, Ukraine, Montenegro and Estonia round out the Top 10.
