WATCH: Anouk gets her happy back with new single Places to Go

Anouk is one busy mama! After giving birth to her fifth child in June and releasing “Feet on the Ground” (with Nicky Romero) later that month, she has now released the first single of her new album ‘Paradise and Back‘. Entitled “Places to Go”, it suggests Anouk is in a happy place: “I travel light, no more starless nights/ Makes me shine from head to toe!”

Although Anouk will always sound like Anouk—cue the sexy, smokey vocals—her new single is a major departure from her earlier stylings. She goes beyond sad and slow to something upbeat and optimistic. It almost makes us want to have five babies, too.

‘Paradise and Back’ is expected to drop in November this year. Anouk hasn’t released any solid details yet, but she has shared the cover of her new album with her fans. Earlier she released a home made clip of ‘Don’t Wipe Us Out’, which will supposely end up on the album.

Earlier this year Anouk treated her fans to a featured single ‘Feet On The Ground‘ with Dutch DJ Nick Romero. That followed the birth of her fith child, a cute little boy named Sion Jethro. We don’t know how she does it, being a mom of five, releasing a new album, making videoclips and taking the time to work on several musical projects with other artists, but she is doing a great job. Women can have it all. Or at least Anouk can.
