This November Slovenia will debut at Junior Eurovision — and boy are they taking it seriously! Slovenia’s debut Junior Eurovision singer Ula Lozar recently took the time to appear on the Dobro Jutro morning show, along with her mother Klara and her mentor Marjetka Vovk. The highlight of the show was when she covered Marija Serifovic’s winning Eurovision song “Molitva”.

Convincing from the start, she sang superbly, just as this song requires. And it wasn’t easy: Slovenian is somewhat different from the other languages spoken in the former Yugoslav Republics, so this would have been a real tongue-twister for the young singer.

Ula’s entry hasn’t been announced yet, but it is expected in the coming weeks. Covering “Molitva” may or may not say anything. But Ula is clearly good with such ballads, and we most certainly want to hear one more from her. This time her own, performed at Junior Eurovision.
