Nina Sublatti — Georgia’s Eurovision 2015 singer — won plaudits for her avant-garde music video, which conveyed the strength of Georgian women through the ages. She proved she can bring the drama and work her angles (in monochrome). But now she wants us to praise her voice and has released an amazing acoustic version of “Warrior”. Once again this warrior slays. (But we already knew that: Did you hear her in Riga?!)
Nina recorded the acoustic version of her song with Zviad Mgebrishvili at the Bravo Records studio in Tbilisi. Nina pours emotion in to this — she’s singing for all the female warriors in Georgia — and we can really feel it. It’s mystical. It’s magical. It’s Nina, y’all.
NINA SUBLATTI FT ZVIAD MGEBRISHVILI – WARRIOR (ACOUSTIC VERSION)
What do you think of this version? Is the song better with softer instrumentation?
If this was the entry, this would be the winner. Perfect.
Georgia wins, Nina is the number one, shut up those who do not like
ninaaaa <3
@the person below me: I hate her personality but I like the personality of the Cyprus,Swedish,Estonian (*2) representors. Since this is a Eurovision fan site and not a Georgia Eurovision fan site. I don’t think I’m wasting my time here.
Forgot the @shafia Shanfa Chain ( Shame on Stupid Maltese me, that’s what Nina would say right 😛 )
Says the person whose getting butthurt. Do you know that celebrities are impersonated multiple times and there are people out there who make a living impersonating celebrities. No, no you don’t. I’m not going to lie, past events ( having a song with the same name as Malta, speaking arrogantly about how she doesn’t care about our song and so on ) have made me hate her. This hate is on a personal level, at a musical level I have her qualifying from semi 1 in 4th place. The best thing Nina could have done was shrug it of and post… Read more »
I don´t like her agressive way of singing, but I like that guy. He is fun to look at. 🙂
1. Even native speakers have some mistakes in lyrics, if they feel like having it
2. She is definitely one of my favorites
3. Good luck everyone and good luck Nina
GO Sakartvelo !
wow
this version has so much gravitas
I love it more than the original, actually
I think that in an acoustic version she shouldn’t have used so much high notes as she did.
Ninaaa you’re amazing little gorgeous girl. i mad about your voice and your personality.good luck and lot of kisses from spain .

The best song in the contest. god i lovee it!!! 12 points from Albania <3
i don’t like Nina anymore, because of yesterday she reacted towards a prank , a joke, she took way too serious. and Amber got pranked , but she could laugh about it, knowing it’s not the real Nina, but a faker. that Nina sure is dumb, to fall for a silly joke like that. i’m still a Amber fan, and i hope she wins, i like her version better then the first one. now it has way more emotion and passion to the song. and i love a good orchestra. by the way Good Luck Amber, your first concert in… Read more »
this is just good, it’s expensive, it’s accurate, it’s marvelous! it’s a winner! GOOD LUCK NINA top 10 for sure!!! Can’t wait to see you in Vienna!
my favorite amazing song amazing artisy amazing vocal amazing voice. uhh love it 12 points from belgium
Last year we had “Undo my sad”, and now we have “still stucked in my mind”. Thank God for spellcheck and giving a fuck about the language you’re singing in, right? I’ve always thought that if countries are going to ditch their native languages for english during Eurovision, they might as well show it the respect it deserves by utilizing proper grammar.
I used to really dislike Nina and her song, but now it’s in my top 15. The acoustic version is very good too, it doesn’t loose any of the drama.
FFS! Can someone on the Wiwi team PLEASE do us a world of favour and get rid of Mario once and for all. I used to love reading peoples opinions on here but now every single time i scroll down all i see his pointless, overtly innapropriate, babbling bullsh*t.
Hey kinda ”sorry” {not..} if my comments are too many.. If i have anything interesting to add in the bunch i will keep posting more than one comment in every topic/article i write about..{i really do not care if any user will mind that..} {{I really do not mind though if how many users here think about me that im the so annoying talkative bubbling user that never keeps his mouth shut and posts in almost every single article/topic & with more than one comments most of the times… Im here to just state my personal state of mind/opinion and… Read more »
And no, I don’t hate the Spanish/Italian fans. They don’t mindlessly spam unrelated blog posts with pro-Spanish/Italian nonsense(Nicky 1991, a perfect example). The Maltese fans do, as do the Georgian and Albanian fans to a certain extent, and I dislike the majority of all these groups of fans for these reasons.
@Maltish that’s an awful comparison, but leaving that aside… A song title is not “owned” be anybody. There have been countless songs with “shine” as/in the title in Eurovision, for example, yet nobody has kicked up a stink about copying. If either country were truly worried about the name clash affecting their placing in Vienna, they would have changed. But neither country has. This whole rivalry is just fans making a mountain out of a molehill, and a false sense of entitlement. Sweden have placed in the top 3 three times in four years. I would hardly call that over-rated.… Read more »
Nina really seems like a tough wild chick…She looks like a beautiful amazon warrior..
She is one of the prettiest girls of Vienna’s EuroVision {possibly the most prettiest even.. <3 } & her videoclip is one of the best finest videos on this Vision.. <3
It was totally obvious in the farse prank made to Amber that it was NOT the actual Nina talking….4 all the reasons.. Like Nina would really talk with this derogatorry attitude towards Amber..?? Even if she believed that her song is better or she is simply the best from all her competitors she would obviously avoid telling that on her opponents’ faces so she wouldn’t seem cocky & egomaniac.. Nina has already stated that she is just only focused on her own entry and she doesn’t pay much attention to the rest competition…Yes she cares about the others hot favorites… Read more »
@If she hadn’t reacted at all, nobody would have ever heard about the giddamn prank into he first place. The radio station carrying out that prank is only the third most followed radio station in a country of only 400,000 people and it’s viewership is far less than the radio station in first place.
Yes, Sweden is excellent ( and I agree ) though the hype for everything they belt out in the Eurovision stage is amazingly overhyped.
@Easpag: We officially chose the song title first and that’s it. Did you know Thomas Edison was not the first person to invent the light bulb? Yet, since he officially patented it first, he became rightfully known as the first inventor. Same story here and Nina and Georgia should respect that fact. So do you also hate the Spanish and Italian fans ( ’cause they’re really annoying ). BTW at the end of the day this place at most makes up 0.01% of the total amount of people voting at Eurovision, so I highly doubt how that will hurt us… Read more »
I also don’t think Nina should have reacted so angrily to the prank. It was clearly pushing a bad image of her, but she should have taken it lightly. As for your Sweden argument, that is another very easy answer. Over the last couple of years, Sweden have consistently sent excellent entries to Eurovision. Hence, they’re songs are going to get good reviews. This year is no different. Whilst I don’t believe Mans to be on the same level as Loreen or Sanna, the song is still a strong entry, and many believe it to be excellent, not just in… Read more »
I really liked Edward’s *We Are Free* & Eter’s *If Someone* songs in the Georgian NF back in January… Eter’s especially was marvellous…Pity that it was competing on the same year with Nina’s *Warrior* as i would want it to represent Georgia in the Vision if Nina was not competing.. I like the message of the song and Eter seemed lovely lady.. <3 Edward is very hot georgian babe.. <3 Misha was handsome babe too but i did not really like his song.. {possibly Edward & Misha are gay/bisexuals in their real lifes.. <3 😉 } About Niutone my opinion… Read more »
@Maltish that’s absolutely ridiculous. Within the boundaries of reasonability, Nina had almost definitely written and composed the song before the announcement of Ambers victory in Malta. She shouldn’t have been expected to change the song title just because somebody other country had chosen a song with the same name first. You really should not be holding a grudge over that, and the “we did it first” argument? You couldn’t come up with anything better than that. I have no agenda. However, I truly dislike the amount of Amber fangirls -constantly- droning on about how fantastic and pretty Amber is, and… Read more »
Nina still saying… I’m a wire. Yeah… #TeamAmber
@Easpag: They are biased at Sweden and any other country known to be excellent in the world of Eurovision. Also I’ve seen other comments of yours and you seem to have an Agenda against Malta, so I ask Why?
@Easpag: Guess what? We chose the song first. So just like how Nina had the “right” to be angry at that little stupid prank. We have the RIGHT to be angry at a song which had been chosen later, has the same title as our song and will now confuse televoter ’cause both are shoe ins for the final.
And you claims of bias are completely unfounded. Do you know why they praise her live vocals? Guess what, it’s because they are good! You seem deeply uncomfortable with this situation.
Lol go away Maltish, with all of the other Amber fan girls who hate Nina over a silly song title. You seem so fearful that Georgia might be considered better than Malta this year, it’s really quite amusing.
*whoever
@jr ESC nl: I love reading things on this site but IMO they are horribly biased in their job, towards shoved shares their page.
Her vocals are amazing, and the guitar is lovely. Still, I don’t feel the singing as an acoustic version. It just feels like she sings like she always does, just with different musical background.
Georgia’s *Warrior* is my no1 most favorite song among the 40 of the Diamond Vision of Vienna! <3 It really stands out from all the rest entries.. The Master of our Vision Mr. G(ay):Son did brilliant job remastering Nina's song transforming it to a superb song…It was already a great song on its first initial version made by Nina herself.. Hopefully Georgia will manage to surpass the all time best record 4 the country in our Vision that is 9th and was made by Eldrine's *One More Day* in EuroVision of 2011 {that still remains my all time no1 most… Read more »
Maltish, omg just leave this site already you’re clearly wasting your time here since all you can do is criticize it. do you demand a apology from wiwibloggs because bad bad nina shared this page? Boohoo
That’s why she’s always been at the top of my list. Just brilliant.
I guess because she shares this page, the journalists at wiwi are now going to place her in the spotlight. Is Georgia’s sub-par song going to take first place in your rankings now Wiwi?
Terrible song. This song are never gonna winn.
This clip shows what an amazing voice Nina has…
BESTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT OMG NINA SO AMAZING
