Conchita Wurst wants all her fans to know they are unstoppable. Well, Conchi baby: the same goes for you!
The official video for “You Are Unstoppable” dropped this morning and it proves once again that Miss Wurst won’t be silenced. It’s a cinematic wonder shot in black and white, and it conveys Conchita’s message of perseverance and self-belief so well. There are no props or fancy backgrounds. It stars Conchita and just one other female — and it works. The simplicity lets the song live and breathe, just like Conchita’s Eurovision 2015 performance.

It opens with a woman in turmoil, wrestling with herself in a sand pit. She embodies the pain of self-discovery which see in Conchita’s lyrics.

As the song progresses we see Conchita bathed in dark light, preaching for her brothers and sisters to keep on moving. At times she is drenched in water Ruth Lorenzo-style, which hints at “diving in”.
So take a breath and just dive in

Scars are a part of you
We can learn to understand
Carry your heart in your hand…
And when she does the actress floats up from the sand through the waves to the surface where she can breathe more freely. By the final minute Conchita has risen to the heavens. She bares more than her soul: We see her bangin’ body which is as smooth and taut as this finely edited video.

This years winner will defenitly be more proffesional than this last years artist. There is a lot of real musicians this year, good songs and I don´t think any other winner will wait a year for release an album. If this is the interval act people can have a paus for not fall in sleep (good we did not have to see the video which is not anything to be proud of) LOL I think only Conchita Wurst team like it However, the album is one year late I agree with most people seams to think that Looking forward for… Read more »

Absolutely LOVE this song. ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’ wasn’t a big favourite of mine but this is absolutely incredible.
I think this season of ESC have a lot of quality artists and I think Conchita Wirst should have done his videos and songs, album promotion when he won Eurovision! This year have such many unstoppable artist too
The song is nothing special. Also the release is one year too late. Don’t understand why the album not release after ESC for one year ago. It will now defenitly be a big flop!

Fantastic song and vocal – just love it, love Conchita, totally admire her courage and talent BUT … is anyone else out there ever so slightly disturbed by the “Kim Kardashian meets Christ-on-the-cross” image? Or is that the point? Whatever, can’t wait to see her in Melbourne next weekend!
