More than six years since her powerful voice and beautiful choreography  wowed audiences at Eurovision 2010, Georgia’s Sofia Nizharadze continues to slay her way through the music scene. Following ESC the singer has released a steady string of singles, performed on MTV Live Georgia and hosted X Factor alongside Anri Jokhadze. And now she is back with the theatrical ballad  “Mapatie” (Sorry). No need to apologise, babes!

SOFIA NIZHARADZE – “MAPATIE”

Magical and tender, the atmospheric ballad wouldn’t sound out of place in a Broadway or West End show, with the gorgeous leading lady apologising for her wrongs and feeling every ounce of pain in her life.

And it’s clear that she is feeling it. As ever Sofia pours herself into this number, giving us beautiful vocals and a fair amount of herself.

The music video was shot at hotel Tbilisi Marriott Hotel and Bazaleti Lake, a scenic location some 60km northwest of Tbilisi. Inside the hotel Sofia slips into a little black dress and marches up and down the hallways, showing off her stunning décolletage and delicious contours. With or without make-up, Sofia cuts a chic figure and looks absolutely gorgeous. Is it just us, or does she sometimes look like Zlata Ognevich in this video?!

Davit Doiashvili and Irina Sanikidze wrote the lyrics, and Zaza Orashvili directed the video clip.

Song from 2010 from Georgia is best song from that country for me at Eurovision.
And she finished 9 with 136 points and there are small diference in points between 4 and 9 place that year. Denmark was on 4 place with 149 points
