Miki La Venda Spain Eurovision 2019

It’s been almost three weeks since he won Spain’s national selection. Yet, your love for Miki shows no signs of waning. For the third consecutive poll, he is your favourite Eurovision 2019 act so far.

Of the 5,683 votes cast, the “La Venda” charmer picked up 2,328 (40.96%). In an amazing coincidence, that’s the exact same amount as he picked up last time!

It’s not just the number one spot that remains unchanged. Once again, Albania’s Jonida Maliqi is the bridesmaid and not the bride. Nonetheless, the songstress increased her tally week-on-week, with “Ktheju Tokës” securing 1,455 votes (25.6%). That compares to 1,245 last time.

France’s androgynous teen idol Bilal Hassani also saw a  tiny rise in popularity. “Roi” garnered 1,156 votes (20.34%), up from 1,150.

Last, but by no means least, it’s the Czech Republic’s Lake Malawi. The peppy “Friend of a Friend” won over 744 of you (13.09% of all votes cast).

Now, the slate is wiped clean. The poll relaunches on Sunday when our quartet will be joined by a myriad of new challengers.

What do you think of the current standings? Does Spain deserve to be number one again? And can Miki hold on to the top spot now that the competition is picking up pace? Who’s your Eurovision favourite? Let us know below.

I wouldn’t go as far as calling them dreadful, but I agree right now there ain’t anything spectacular. Hopefully, Australia will change it by choosing 2000 and Whatever.

As a non-Spanish guy from the heart of Europe, Spain is my favorite by far, out of the four chosen songs.

Coincidence or same Spanish fans?
I like this entry a lot but come on, the best out of these four? Nah…
For me, Jonida is the best so far.
I can’t wait to have more songs already! Such a slow start

You’ll never know, not in this poll, not in the polls to come. Just vote for your favourites and enjoy the eurovision season

How come it’s already Februari and we now only have FOUR (4!!) songs so far? What a slow start to this year. I love Spain and Albania, like France and hate Czech Republic, so I agree with these results so far.

A slow start of the year means the best is yet to come. Prepare for the avalanche.

Albania is by far the standout so far, Spain and Czech Republic are equally good for me and lake doesn’t deserve half the hate he’s getting. France’s song is the first one so far that I don’t like

Lake isn’t actually his first name. In the beginning I believed that, too but Lake Malawi is the name of the band and the singer is called Albert ?erný. I believe that in the end they end up pretty well. There’s always this good-mood sweet song which Eurovision fans don’t like and that suprises in the end

Bilal is the new Manel Navarro . I’m still sorry for Manel, he did not had the army of fans that Bilal has. Bilal will crush and burn, worse than Manel, I can bet on 0 points.
Miki is my favorite so far. I’m not Spanish, I’m from Bucharest, Romania, and I can prove by speaking romanian : Miki ar trebui sa castige, sa auzim un cantec pozitiv, nu doar drame si abuzuri.

In what world would Bilal end up getting 0 points?
Even Manel got more than 0 and Bilal is way better than him (entry as well)
By the way, we can all speak any language thanks to Google translate etc. So….

Sorry, but it has to be said, Manel did one mistake, Bilal can’t sing at all.

As much as i’m not a fan of Bilal’s song, I’m sure he’ll get some points. At the very least there are certainly french speakers in Belgium and Switzerland who will vote for him.

If they’re still the favorite after Australia and Italy’s entries. Then, there’s no need to taking these polls seriously.

Spain may have the best song in a very weak start to ESC 2019, but how do we know about the amount of Spanish people hijacking the polls for the millionth year running.
