He’s a many of mystery who regularly defies expectations and lives by his rules alone. And in recent weeks Portugal’s artiste extraordinaire Conan Osiris has continued to do things his way, skipping the Eurovision pre-parties to work on his art and to perform at his own gigs.
Now the shape-shifting performer has made another bold decision: He’ll slay his performance piece “Telemóveis” at the Wiwi Jam on May 15. The beautiful Theatre Club is a thoroughly fitting setting for Portugal’s theatrical wonder. Will he bring his gold-plated beard piece? Will his dancer defy gravity and slam into the floor? And will there be bows and arrows and roses? We don’t know, but we’re charging our phones, topping up our SIMs and dusting off our lenses to watch it all unfold.
Conan joins a growing list of artists who will hit our stage. So far they include Cyprus’ Tamta, France’s Bilal Hassani, Greece’s Katerine Duska, Israel’s premier cabaret act Eurofalsh, Slovenia’s Zala & Gasper, Sweden’s John Lundvik, singer-songwriter Laurell Barker, Finland’s Darude & Sebastian Rejman, Estonia’s Victor Crone and San Marino’s Serhat. More names will be revealed in the days ahead. Get ready and get your tickets while they last. Don’t say we haven’t warned you.
The Wiwi Jam 2019 at Theatre Club
Our not-to-miss evening of songs, selfies and slayage returns in 2019 at the stunning Theatre Club. The event will take place on Wednesday May 15 from 22:00 and runs until the sun comes up. If you’re attending the semi-final 2 jury show, there will be PLENTY for you to see afterwards at the Wiwi Jam. As in recent years, we’ll have more than a dozen acts keen to celebrate the fandom. We’ll be spinning non-stop Eurovision tracks in between acts.
The Theatre Club is a large dance club and music venue located in Jaffa, just a five-minute walk from Eurovision Village and Charles Clore Park. The historic building served as a theatre in the early 20th century and today welcomes up to 1,500 people for music events and red carpet celebrations. It should look very familiar to our viewers: it served as host venue of Israel Calling 2016 and 2017.
Tickets for the one-night extravaganza cost 20 euros. That’s 15 euros for the ticket + a small booking fee.

The Wiwi Jam is happy to take over the Theatre Club on Wednesday May 15. But we’re just one of seven nights of music being celebrated at the Theatre Club.
Between May 12 and May 18 the club is hosting a series of parties with a Eurovision twist.
Doors open every day at 21:00. They promise…

* Live streaming of the semi finals and final on a big screen, with the best sound system.
* Drag queens shows.
