This semi-final will see five acts perform — four semi-finalists and one pre-qualified act. The four semi-finalists are:

  • Dinaye “Own Yourself”
  • Big Daddy Karsten “Smile”
  • Ole Hartz “Vi er Norge”
  • Emmy “Witch Woods”

The four acts will be split into two duelling pairs. The public will vote for their favourite in each duel, with the two winners progressing to the “Gold Duel”. The public will then vote once more. The winner of the gold duel will win the semi-final and qualify directly to the grand final. The eliminated acts will remain in contention for a wildcard spot in the final, which will be decided later on in the season.

In addition to the duels, one pre-qualified act will perform:

  • Kaja Rode “Feel Again”

There are two more pre-qualified acts. They will showcase their entries later in the season:

  • Atle Pettersen – “World On Fire” (5 February)
  • Rein Alexander – “Eyes Wide Open” (12 February)

Past Shows

Semi-final one saw Blåsemafian feat. Hazel nab a spot in the grand final with “Let Loose”. TIX and KEiiNO also showcased their pre-qualified entries. In the second semi, Raylee blew the competition away with “Hero”. Finalists Stavangerkameratene debuted “Barndomsgater”.

Can anyone give me any tips for watching all three at the same time? I usually don’t do this during nf seasons but I decided to take a different approach.

For France, the show won’t start earlier than 21.05 CET, while MGP Heat will finish around 21.15 so maybe you can adapt for having only two at the same time. Then you can open two windows and place them side by side on your screen, and put the sound on only when you find something interesting might going on (despite you don’t understand anything with the language 😉 ) and attracts your attention, I don’t know. If not, just choose the NF that attracts your curiousity the most. By the way, C’est vous qui décidez’s winner will be proclaimed around… Read more »

But the Norwegian one will probably end before the French really starts (there’s always that intro explaining how the vote will… Read more »

Well, there’s still a hope for they not geoblocking it. In any case, I’ll try a VPN too. Hopefully I’ll be able to watch it.
