Back in December, the production team of Eurovision 2021 asked Dutch municipalities to nominate unique locations in the Netherlands that could be showcased during the postcards – the short films between songs in which the participants are introduced. And ever since then a so-called “tiny house” has been traveling to around 40 locations for filming.

During the live shows of Eurovision, footage of the Eurovision stars at home will be broadcast from these houses — bridging the divide between home and abroad and connecting all parts of The Netherlands with all parts of Europe (and Australia).

And as it turns out, the “tiny house” is actually multiple tiny houses — two of which are now on display inside the Ahoy Arena. Our Esma attended a press tour on Thursday and filmed one of them. The house is filled with all sorts of items — from the spectacular (a bejewelled ukulele) to the mundane (a set of dumbbells). All of them belong to a Eurovision 2021 star!

Yes, the participants of ESC 2021 have all put a personal item on display. Now we want you to guess who owns what!

The fancy ukulele is pretty clear. Germany’s Jendrik plays it in his music video for “I Don’t Feel Hate” and he even commented on the above Insta post, asking: “OMG MY UKULELE BUT HOW, ITS HERE, THEY MAGICIANS.” This would suggest it’s potentially a replica.

Our other commenters think the Elvis record belongs to Gjon’s Tears — a known fan of the country star — and that the neon “Mad About You” sign comes from Hooverphonic. It is, of course, the name one of their biggest hits!

And what else? We’ve read that the gold feathers might belong to “Fallen Angel” singer TIX. And a lot of you think the magazine cover of Tusse belongs to, well, Tusse.

What other items and owners have you put a finger on? Let us know down below!

I actually saw the hat first and that’s Samanta’s (I think)

Also that pickup is from Bulgaria’s music video, if I’m not mistaken!

Edit: Oh, and I just saw the horse saddle… Could it be Leslie’s??

The Elvis record does indeed represent Gjon. When he was 9, he sang “Can’t Help Falling in Love” to his grandfather, moving him to tears. That’s how he got his stage name

The postcard idea this year sounds so good. So on point to the mood of the viewer watching the beautiful sights of the Netherlands from our own tiny home

I loved the idea! It’s really cool to try to guess which object belongs to which artist <3
But the misspelling "Hooverphobic" is so funny haha. Who is afraid of Hooverphonic are Hooverphobic? Lol

I thought the solar system model (as a symbol for the Universe) is Gjon’s, ’cause of his song title and the space visuals in the music video

VHS videos are such an excellent metaphor for Denmark’s entry. Absolutely embedded in the 80s; now retro-nostalgic-cool for some but completely inaccessible and obsolete for others.

That’s cool, great idea! It’s very easy and obvious for some of these objects to find who are the owners but it’s fun.
I think I’ve identified Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Portugal, Czech Republic, France, Sweden, Germany so far
