The Wiwi Jam At Home

UPDATE: Sadly, we have encountered some last-minute technical issues with the upload of The Wiwi Jam At Home concert. We will NOT be able to premiere it tonight. We are devastated. But the show will go on! We are rescheduling for 18:30 CEST tomorrow. A lot of love and hard work has gone into the show and we can’t wait for y’all to see the finished project. Again, we’re so sorry that we can’t bring it to you tonight. But we promise it will be worth the wait. Consider it a pre-party for semi-final two!

It simply wouldn’t be Eurovision week without the Wiwi Jam. Alas, due to the ongoing pandemic, we’re not able to host it in a club setting like in previous years. But we’re going to celebrate nonetheless! For a second year, we’re moving our annual concert from the host city of Rotterdam to the internet. And tonight’s the night we go live!

The Wiwi Jam at Home 2021 — 19:00 CEST Wednesday 19 May

Tonight’s event will feature shout-outs and/or performances from over 20 stars from Eurovision 2021 as well as several more acts from the wider Eurovision world. In total, we have a line-up of over 30 performers.

For obvious reasons, this year’s show will follow a different formula in the sense that there is no formula. Some artists are singing their songs in their entirety, while others have chosen to sing other songs from their repertoire. Many send words of encouragement during these difficult times.

But no contribution is too big or too small. The artists, just like all of you, face new and specific challenges. What’s important is that they are sending positivity from their home to yours and celebrating the Eurovision experience together.

The Wiwi Jam at Home concert will take place on the wiwibloggs YouTube channel the evening of Wednesday May 19 at 19:00 Rotterdam time— in between the Eurovision semi-finals. The good and the great of the song contest will be celebrating their fans and each other. There are lots of surprises to be announced. See y’all there!

This year’s production will run for approximately two hours. That means that we’ll be finished in time for you to switch over to our semi-final jury show live stream at 21:00 CEST. The show will remain online for repeat viewing afterwards.

@wiwiteam
The Maneskin video with Zitti e Buoni and I wanna be your slave has reached 850k views on YouTube. Is that the most views ever in the wiwibloggs channel?

I love how you didn’t put the Belarussian Dictatorship flag and you went with the red-white hearts! (Also there’s a typo in Big Daddy Karsten, his name is with two d’s)

It is not the dictatorship flag. It is the state flag. While white-red is the Fascist collaborationist flag.

Is this pre-recorded and just premiering live or will it actually be live performances?
Like where the performances filmed a few weeks back or are they in Rotterdam?

It would be very sad to see Albina after last night. Imagine Sweden/Belgium qualify above qualify above Croatia, JESUS!

Belgium is such quality, I completely understand why they qualify. I’m sad for Albina, but she suffered that Eden performed after her. Even in the recap the song from Israel was more memorable. Nevertheless, it’s good to have Belgium in the GF, because it brings diversity to the ceremony 🙂
