Back in May, they stole the hearts of many people around the globe. Their Eurovision 2021 song “SHUM” became a smash hit and did well in many Spotify charts. And now, over the course of autumn and winter this year, Go_A are taking their career to the next level and have announced a tour of the Benelux and Lithuania.

Go_A announce European tour

As restrictions are easing across Europe, Go_A plan to finally make their way across the continent. The group is starting their tour in Lithuania, which gave Ukraine the maximum of 24 points at Eurovision 2021. The “Solovey” hitmakers will hit the Avia Solutions Group Arena in the capital Vilnius on 19 November.

After that, Go_A will travel to the Netherlands and Belgium. The group will perform in Hooverphonic’s hometown Sint-Niklaas on 4 December as their only Belgian concert. Subsequently, the Ukrainians will play in larger theatres in Arnhem, Breda and Hoofddorp, as well as making an appearance during the second edition of Het Grote Songfestivalfeest – the Great Song Contest Party party in Amsterdam.

Since Eurovision, Go_A have so far performed primarily in Ukrainian venues, as most of Europe still had restrictions with regards to concert capacity. The band showcased their music during large events, including Atlas Weekend and Kateryna Osadcha’s Evening of Premieres.

Next to that, the group performed “SHUM” with the Kyiv Philharmonic Orchestra at the concert celebration of Ukraine’s 30th anniversary.

Go_A is one of the few Eurovision acts to be able to independently tour the continent after the contest. Bar the winner, it is a rarity that Eurovision acts are able to sell venues in countries outside their primary market.

Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin managed to sell out their European tour earlier last month within mere minutes.

Would you like to join Go_A on their tour? Are you planning to go to one of the concerts they’ll hold across Europe? Let us know in the comments down below!

Netherlands, the host country
Lithuania, the country that gave them the most points
And Belgium, the country they gave 2 out of the 3 televote points!

Interesting thinking, Go_A! ?

Belgium televote gave 10 points to Go_A.
And their jury 10 as well
Only France stop them to get 12 from televote.

That is huge for an act that didn’t make it in top 3! Well done and good luck

They were second in the televote, though, and that’s who buys tickets.

Yes, indeed. Didn’t thought about that. Still, huge, as compared to Keino for instance, who won the popular vote in 2019…

For a split second I thought they had a square, a circle and a triangle on their poster, until I realised that it’s just “Go_A” written in fancy letters. Am I too addicted to Squid Game? xD
