It hasn’t had a national selection since 2015. But tonight, after six years of internal picks, North Macedonia is set to reveal the six songs which will compete in Za Evrosong 2022. We’ve known the identities of the artists and their songwriters since last week, now we’ll get to hear the fruits of their labour.

The songs are being presented during the music programme Stisni Play. Online voting will begin at that time and last for seven days — until February 4. The lyric videos will be premiered on the show, and later posted on the online platform for public voting. The winner will be decided by a 50-50 combination of online voting, as well as an international jury.
The six songs to be revealed are:
- Kaly (Kalina Velkovska) — “Love and Light”
- Yon Idy — “Dreams”
- Lara Ivanova — “Flower of Sorrow”
- Viktor Apostolovski — “Superman”
- Andrea Koevska — “Circles”
- Ris Flower (Boris Cvetanovski) — “Flying to Berlin”

I’m always amazed when North Macedonia presents their efforts – just considering how small that country is and that their financial resources are probably pretty limited…
North Macedonia have produced a very fine effort here, I enjoyed all 6 songs, they are all charming in their different ways.
There are two very good choices:
Superman – this has the potential to be iconic – what a tune
Circles – the only track to give me goosebumps, it feels very personal and authentic
Well done North Macedonia, this is a really nice selection

“Circles” is very good song. But and Viktor have very catchy and nice song.
On first listen i enjoyed ‘Flowers of Sorrow’, ‘Circles’ and ‘Dreams’. Nothing super amazing though.

It would be a lie if i say that i have high hopes. We’ll see… Hope they have something surprising here because i wanted them to continue their success after 2019.
