With 27 out of 37 countries being represented by solo performers, Eurovision 2024 continues a longstanding tradition of celebrating the power and talent of solo acts.
We previously set up a poll so you could vote for your favourite solo artists of this year’s competition.
After totting up 9,135 votes in total, we now have the results…
Croatia’s Baby Lasagna is a favourite solo artist at Eurovision 2024
“Rim Tim Tagi Dim” by Baby Lasagna appears to have struck a chord with a significant portion of voters. He earned 12.11% of the vote, amounting to 1,106 votes. There’s strong support for the Croatian star and he was the only one to earn more than 1,000 votes.
Meanwhile, Switzerland’s “The Code” by Nemo, Italy’s “La Noia” by Angelina Mango, and Netherlands’ “Europapa” by Joost Klein, all managed to capture a noteworthy percentage of the votes, indicating a diverse range of musical preferences among our voters. Nemo is currently the odds number one favourite following his stunning performances of the Eurovision pre-parties.
Overall, the results of the poll reflect the vibrant and inclusive spirit of Eurovision, where artists from different backgrounds come together to celebrate music and showcase their talents on an international stage.
Entries such as Moldova’s “In the Middle” by Natalia Barbu, Iceland’s “Scared of Heights” by Hera Björk, and Germany’s “Always on the Run” by ISAAK garnered relatively lower percentages of votes. Despite their inclusion in the competition, these entries might not have resonated as strongly with the audience compared to others.

Do you think Baby Lasagna has a shot at winning Eurovision 2024 this May? Let us know down below…
Song is awful, he can’t sing and Croatians have been homophobic all this time. Disgusting!
Really think that jury is going to bring Croatia down, like they did to Finland last year. They buried them with only 2 x12 points vs Sweden who got 15 x 12 pt. That was sad. Croatia will be winner by televotes, but it is not going to be enough for better place than 3. or 4. Good luck! For me – the best is Italy 🙂
I am glad for Baby Lasagna he is dieserve to win ? But i am sad that is Teya Dora low….i am hope taht after reherseals people will more apriciacte her song and performance.
Croatians voting for Croatia, so impressive…
Croatia, a tiny country compared to most in this list… Also, eurovisionworld.com blocked voitng for your own country, and Croatia is first… what is that all about?
Baby L seems like a humble guy who’s bringing fun and spirit to the competition. The chorus has a great hook and nice reference to cats. This is going to be a great competition.
I am happy for us but we aren’t winning. We have no stage director, HRT has no experience with good eurovision performances, there is no choreo, it is literally freestyle the entire performance. That doesn’t translate good on screen and with juries. The only thing we got going for us is his charisma. But top 3 finish is a win for us imo.
Finally one Croatian who don’t believe in victory for Baby Lasagna which is clearly not gonna happen. Reasonable thinking Robert.
I agree with HRT downsides, but BL team did do much just for Dora in a short period of time. And that was the only real performance we have seen. So I would not dismiss it yet…. however, what he has done so far is great achievement, win or not he still made everyone proud!
BL the best! Winner!
Go, Lasagna! He’s the only participant who wrote his song all by himself. It’s Croatia’s year, deservedly so. Respect!
Why I thought baby lasagna was a band until now
Congratulations!
Go Bambie! You deserved to be a bit higher.
Croatia vs Netherlands even more iconic fight than the rumble of the jungle
Worldwide a lister star baby lasagna vs superstar joost klein
Switzerland also offering a lister band Nemo as well as italy a pop diva bigger than beyonce angelina mango
Wow i expect 500 million viewers tbh
Ok ngl, that was funny lol. I wasn’t expecting that you can make me laugh:)
Thrilled to see Bambie so high???
High on magic mushrooms?!
Oh, when i see Baby, i can just feel the smile on my face. Love the song, love the styling, love the charisma. He is manly man, but also sweet and cute. That is deadly combination for me. I wish him all the happiness in the world. Go on BL, you are this season’s star boy. Bring that trophy home, and have fun on that big stage. Oh boy, i just like the feeling when i fall i love during Eurovision season hahah
He’s also the only solo songwriter of the year, as far as I can tell. Malta have nine.
all of Malta’s co-composers want a share of Daddy Bonnici’s money honestly
<3 Go Lasagna
Prediction: As things currently stand, Croatia will win the public vote. France will win the jury vote. It may be that someone who draws from both (ie: Switzerland, Ukraine and Italy) manages to sneak a win.
I believe this will be the case. Not sure about the juries though, it might as well be Switzerland/Italy or somebody unexpected, not France necessarily.
Still hope Joost will win the televote though
This year is so unpredictable, it’s amazing!
The nicest guy and the victory-worthy song, has my vote
Silvester all the way!
agree
Agree!
Why am I being downvoting for liking Silvester lol?
Downvoted*
I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
Just seems funny, didn’t say anything negative or whatnot
I think some people just downvote anything for the sheer hell of it. I don’t understand, either.
Sadly that is a habit of some people here…. I am upvoting anyone who says positive things, does not matter if its supporting my favourite or not. Because that should ne the point, support your favourite, do not insult anyone…
Right! We’re all going to like someone else dislikes and vice versa, we all need to be as nice as we possibly can. I know it’s not fully possible because some folks like to be rotten, but a good bunch of folks here are good apples 🙂
solo ? What about all the pre-recorded track he will bring on ?
Switzerland is THAT way!!!
Did you actually listen to this song?
He need those pre-recorded vocals because he can’t sing.
You will jump on any train that tries to shame BL.. lol…. which pre recorded vocals? Woohoo? That’s it….
It is a sad, sad life that that person lives. Do not bother with it. United by Music is one small, sad person without life.
I know that already…. not bothered at all
Yeah, your fave Dimsic was such a good singer LOL!
Lol I saw the comment and down votes and knew from which troll was it before looking.
Dude everyone have backing vocals to support them. Its not like Marko is entirely relying on them tho (compared to other artists this year)
I think you’re confused about what the term “solo artist” means
More than deserved!
Croatians spamming these polls ruined the whole season.
Didn’t even see this poll 🙁 would have voted for Silvester, Joost and Nemo
Well done!
Now please do the votes without possibility to vote for your own country. Baby Lasagna will then be maybe in top 15.
Why did you abandon the Oliver X account? 😀
Well,your fave NQed, didn’t she? 🙂
Mmm, not sure about it. Baby Lasagna has a large following in a lot of countries at this point. However, for Israel and Serbia you point would stand!
BL is hardly singing, only groweling and relying to much on his backing tracks like last years Kaäriä. But less boring than Serbia and Israel.
On my YT channel I get all those commercial adds for suporting Kaleen, Austria. We will rave.
How about desperate to win??? Thats just a cheap copy of old days raving.
I will rave with the best genuine beat. And thats Joost not Kaleen.
Who knows??
Lol….. now go to eurovisionworld.com and check who is first in the poll there, and they did ban voting from your own country. I know you will not, cause you are hatefull and ignorant, so I will tell you… its Croatia. And that’s not for solo, its for all acts… solo and group
He’s first in the poll on esc world where you in fact can’t vote for your own country 🙂
Don’t bother….. Divided by Misic is a classic hater, he/she will find a conspiracy theory why that one is rigged too
Yeah, I posted a link but I guess linking is not allowwd on the boards here so it got deleted.
Keep dreaming!
That’ a good point, but I think it will affect Klein more than Lasagna
Lol, there’s already a poll on eurovisionworld (much more accurate than this web) and you can only vote for other countries than your own.
Guess who is first…. ?
Favourite solo-solo artist. Well done baby, bring this sh*t to Balkans!!
