With 27 out of 37 countries being represented by solo performers, Eurovision 2024 continues a longstanding tradition of celebrating the power and talent of solo acts.

We previously set up a poll so you could vote for your favourite solo artists of this year’s competition.

After totting up 9,135 votes in total, we now have the results…

Croatia’s Baby Lasagna is a favourite solo artist at Eurovision 2024

“Rim Tim Tagi Dim” by Baby Lasagna appears to have struck a chord with a significant portion of voters. He earned 12.11% of the vote, amounting to 1,106 votes. There’s strong support for the Croatian star and he was the only one to earn more than 1,000 votes.

Meanwhile, Switzerland’s “The Code” by Nemo, Italy’s “La Noia” by Angelina Mango, and Netherlands’ “Europapa” by Joost Klein, all managed to capture a noteworthy percentage of the votes, indicating a diverse range of musical preferences among our voters. Nemo is currently the odds number one favourite following his stunning performances of the Eurovision pre-parties.

Overall, the results of the poll reflect the vibrant and inclusive spirit of Eurovision, where artists from different backgrounds come together to celebrate music and showcase their talents on an international stage.

Entries such as Moldova’s “In the Middle” by Natalia Barbu, Iceland’s “Scared of Heights” by Hera Björk, and Germany’s “Always on the Run” by ISAAK garnered relatively lower percentages of votes. Despite their inclusion in the competition, these entries might not have resonated as strongly with the audience compared to others.

Really think that jury is going to bring Croatia down, like they did to Finland last year. They buried them with only 2 x12 points vs Sweden who got 15 x 12 pt. That was sad. Croatia will be winner by televotes, but it is not going to be enough for better place than 3. or 4. Good luck! For me – the best is Italy 🙂

Croatia, a tiny country compared to most in this list… Also, eurovisionworld.com blocked voitng for your own country, and Croatia is first… what is that all about?

Baby L seems like a humble guy who’s bringing fun and spirit to the competition. The chorus has a great hook and nice reference to cats. This is going to be a great competition.

I am happy for us but we aren’t winning. We have no stage director, HRT has no experience with good eurovision performances, there is no choreo, it is literally freestyle the entire performance. That doesn’t translate good on screen and with juries. The only thing we got going for us is his charisma. But top 3 finish is a win for us imo.

Finally one Croatian who don’t believe in victory for Baby Lasagna which is clearly not gonna happen. Reasonable thinking Robert.

I agree with HRT downsides, but BL team did do much just for Dora in a short period of time. And that was the only real performance we have seen. So I would not dismiss it yet…. however, what he has done so far is great achievement, win or not he still made everyone proud!

Go, Lasagna! He’s the only participant who wrote his song all by himself. It’s Croatia’s year, deservedly so. Respect!

Oh, when i see Baby, i can just feel the smile on my face. Love the song, love the styling, love the charisma. He is manly man, but also sweet and cute. That is deadly combination for me. I wish him all the happiness in the world. Go on BL, you are this season’s star boy. Bring that trophy home, and have fun on that big stage. Oh boy, i just like the feeling when i fall i love during Eurovision season hahah

He’s also the only solo songwriter of the year, as far as I can tell. Malta have nine.

Prediction: As things currently stand, Croatia will win the public vote. France will win the jury vote. It may be that someone who draws from both (ie: Switzerland, Ukraine and Italy) manages to sneak a win.

I believe this will be the case. Not sure about the juries though, it might as well be Switzerland/Italy or somebody unexpected, not France necessarily.

Still hope Joost will win the televote though

Sadly that is a habit of some people here…. I am upvoting anyone who says positive things, does not matter if its supporting my favourite or not. Because that should ne the point, support your favourite, do not insult anyone…

Right! We’re all going to like someone else dislikes and vice versa, we all need to be as nice as we possibly can. I know it’s not fully possible because some folks like to be rotten, but a good bunch of folks here are good apples 🙂

Mmm, not sure about it. Baby Lasagna has a large following in a lot of countries at this point. However, for Israel and Serbia you point would stand!

BL is hardly singing, only groweling and relying to much on his backing tracks like last years Kaäriä. But less boring than Serbia and Israel.

On my YT channel I get all those commercial adds for suporting Kaleen, Austria. We will rave.
How about desperate to win??? Thats just a cheap copy of old days raving.
I will rave with the best genuine beat. And thats Joost not Kaleen.
Who knows??

Lol….. now go to eurovisionworld.com and check who is first in the poll there, and they did ban voting from your own country. I know you will not, cause you are hatefull and ignorant, so I will tell you… its Croatia. And that’s not for solo, its for all acts… solo and group
