What do you think of our Top 10 national final songs of Eurovision 2025? Are you surprised by our choices? Let us know in the comments.
I’ll never mentally recover from the fact that Heaven Sent got snubbed.
Excuse me, where is Vivii? O.o
To be honest, I am not thrilled with Eurovision 2025 ( exceptions made for Ancient Iliria, Poland and Greece), but I am happy for having found jewels to my ears in some NFs that I added to my playlist:
Italy’s Dimenticarsi alla 7 and Eco
Portugal’s Tristeza and Calafrio
Ukraine’s Stay True
Slovenia’s O-ou
And adding Italy’s Amarcord and Portugal’s Cotovia…. Just loved San Remo and FdC this year.. but not pleased at all with their final results… well, it’s life
Made Of is in my personal Top 10. Turbo Zurka and Vále are better than the winners in Serbia and Greece respectively, and Revolution and On and On were okay for Melodifestivalen, but overall I’m finding not only the Top 10 but the Top 50 of Wiwi underwhelming. My personal Top 5 were Lusterka, Drobe, Külm, Monster by Jelle, and Znak, and 4 out of these 5 aren’t even in Wiwi’s Top 50 🙂
My personal top :
10. ??The Rumpled – You Get Me so High
9. ??Emmy Curl – Rhapsódia di Paz
8. ??Matt Shaft – Welcome to the Circus
7. ??A Cantadeira – Responso a Mulher
6. ?? Bend 9 – Stop War
5. ??Vesa – Lutem
4. ??Yagody- Bramaya
3. ??Ogenj – Daj Daj
2. ??Peculiar – Adamastor
1. ??Feuerschwanz – Knightclub
Posted several posts, all of them temporarily blocked. Thanks for reminding me why I stopped posting regularly.
Why would this be a stupid list? It’s the list of Wiwiblogs, can’t they have an own opinion hah. Chill people
Tbh, it feels like a really strange top 10, top 5 song sounds really average. I’m glad to see Adel The Secong in the Top 5, totally deserved to win DMGP but was robbed so bad just for Denmark to get a NQ in May. My top 10: 1. Adel the Second – The Unluckiest Boy Alive – DMGP 2. An-Marlen – Külm – Eesti Laul 3. Greczula – Believe Me – Melodifestivalen 4. Jon Vitezi? – Vse ti dam – EMA 5. LaChispa – Hartita de llorar – Benidorm Fest 6. Gebrasy – Whole – Eurovizija.LT 7. Just? Baradulinait?… Read more »
I started to lose hope that our boy Adel the Second would be oin the top 10, even though he got my top points, but I was was THRILLED to see he’s this high!
10. ma ei tea sind (Estonia) — Andrei Zevakin
9. ZNAK (Croatia) — nipplepeople
8. Hitaammin hautaan (Finland) — Nelli Matula
6. VERTEBRE (Italy) — SETTEMBRE
5. Dimmi tu quando sei pronto per fare
l’amore (Italy) — Vale LP & Lil Jolie
4. Lisboa (Portugal) — Capital Da Bulgária
3. Grazie ma no grazie (Italy) — Willie Peyote
2. Eco (Italy) — Joan Thiele
1. ???? (Ukraine) — DK Energetyk
Sanremo was soooo good this year (as per usual). I’m aware two of the songs above weren’t vying for a place in Eurovision but they were still competing in a national final technically lol
shout to DK Energetyk & their song “Sil’” for bringing my fave genre to euro-season ^^
Firat time I’m hearing Goldielocks… WHAT A TUNE! What a performance! Excellent!
Unlike the rest of the list. Heaven sent? You have got to be kidding me!?
Goldielocks indeed had a very interesting and creative pop song that I certainly like way more than Ich Komme. Wouldn’t have put it among my top preferences in the NF songs ranking though. That spots would have surely been reserved for Sanremo entries, with Fuorilegge, Battito and Il ritmo delle cose being the first ones to pop to my mind.
No Sanremo songs in the top 10?
Instad, a bunch of Swedish trash. Biased much?
Giorgia should be in the top 10.
What a shock, the usual love fest to Melodifestivalen. At this point we’re all complicit to an incredibly biased Eurovision blog.
The question in everybody’s mind right now: “Where is Viivi?”
No Viivi? What a stupid list.
No July Jones? 🙁 She deserves to be at least in Top 50. Still sad she didn´t make it to ESC. I hope next year Slovenia just sends her internally.
Fedez and Brunori Sas out of the top 50 is crazy!!
Seriously no Viivi?
Exactly. :/
malta can win this year‘s eurovision with Kristy Spiteri – “Heaven Sent”? but they chose Kant??????????
10. Molodi — “My Sea” (Ukraine) 9. Martha May — “Running to the Light” (Croatia) 8. KiKi — “O-Ou!” (Slovenia) 7. Nipplepeople — “Znak” (Croatia) 6. Joan Thiele — “Eco” (Italy) 5. Oxajo — “MaMa” (Serbia) 4. Citi Z?ni — “Ramtai” (Latvia) 3. Tepat — “Sadzejot” (Latvia) 2. Petunija — “? saldum?” (Lithuania) 1. Katr?na Gupalo — “Scarlett Challenger” (Latvia) – There’s something incredibly poignant (and, at my age, personal) to me about a national finals song bargaining to fight the passage of time and get one more shot at your foolish dreams. Wish Markus Riva good luck for me,… Read more »
Hey, my “wildly optimistic underdog pick” for number one got close!
Write that novel! Audition for that part! Apply to Un Voce per San Marino!
It’s never too late!
Great to see Klara placing above Måns
Think she’s better palced on many list incl.Spotify?
..better placed..
Where’s RIKKI? Hmm? WHERE??
Stuck between floors, perhaps
My personal places from 10 to 1: 1) “La cura per me” – Giorgia (Italy) I love everything of what Giorgia’s entry is giving : powerful vocals, true poetry and large range of emotions. It would have been a whole different story shoud the song have reach Sanremo top 5 considering this years outcome, and it could also have sat at the table of the ESC2025 great ballads alongside Switzerland or France and Austria to compete for the win. 2) “Cotovia” – Diana Vilharo (Portugal) To think the song was a few amount of public votes to make it to… Read more »
Congratulations Goldielocks! A cool song combined with a really interesting singer with great potential. It was amazing that despite illness during the final, the rehearsal footage was used on the actual night and Goldielocks still finished 2nd. Definitely memorable 🙂 Here is my top 10: 1 “Aina” Viivi (UMK) – This is the most beautiful song I’ve heard in the Finnish language so far, bravo. 2 “La cura per me” Giorgia (Sanremo) – A piano & strings song by Giorgia, Blanco & Michelangelo with a gorgeous vocal. It’s highly nostalgic and gives Whitney Houston vibes in places. This song personally… Read more »
Purple… we have SO MUCH in common this year! Wait for my lists soon. 🙂
10 – Rocco Hunt: Mille vote ancora (Italy) – It’s a quite good pop-rap song with a strong social message and a convincing delivery. It holds the mantle of Eden and Cenere pretty well. I think it was underrated, as much as among fans as in Sanremo final ranking. 9 – Chrust: Tempo (Poland) – One of the most original songs of the year. Modern and traditional. Eerie, yet pleasant. Experiemental, yet catchy. Would’ve been another excellent choice. 8 – Janek: Frozen (Estonia) – I love how well everything fits here. The vocal delivery and the staging add to the… Read more »
4 – Simone Cristicchi: Quando sarai piccola (Italy) – My winner of Sanremo is a special song for me. The melody is lovely, but as it uses classical Italian recitative to build-up slowly, it took time for me to appreciate it. Simone is very convincing live, and delivers its powerful climax very well. But even that’s beside the point here. It really is one of those cases where the lyrics are THAT powerful that they carry the song to its stardom. They tell Cristicchi’s personal story in such a poetic way, and as I’m currently living through a similar situation,… Read more »
I’ve been kind of baffled by the reception for Eco. It’s cultishly adored in some of the bubbles I’m in, but once I get outside of those, it’s like it doesn’t exist. On the big rating site, it hovers between 3 and 3.5 with more than 10,000 ratings. And of course, it was a non-factor in Sanremo. I find the song so pleasurable that I don’t get it at all!
Giorgia is in my top 20, if that ever gets unblocked. 🙂
Leaving out Nataleen with “The Game” from the top 50 is crazy!!! By far one of the best NF songs of the year. Including many boring MF entries that is a must always for sure. Probably the worst top 50 ever – but at least it is probably the best number 1 ever.
Nataleen is my no. 14. (So I guess I agree.)
no harem girls? that‘s wild
and no july jones
wait, külm from estonia didn’t even make the top 50?????
kulm and tristeza are the best songs of this nf season, both eesti laul and fdc were packed with great songs
did you hear the live vocals? girl was grating cheese with that voice
??? vocals were fine, the staging could’ve been better tho.
should we pretend all these mello acts can actually sing live? ^^
Great pick for the no 1 spot. Also, I still kant get over how cool her mv fashion was.
I have Heaven Sent on repeat in my playlist since the MESC. I hope Kristy will come back in the coming years.
1. Kuve – Loca por ti (Spain)
2. An Marlen – Kulm (Estonia)
3. Laurakojapjeva – NPC (Croatia)

7. COSBY – I’m Still Here (Germany)

9. The Scurbats – Breakdown (San Marino)
10. Neea River – Nightmares (Finland)
I highly recommend An-Marlen’s Endale if you haven’t heard it already.
Great recommendation thank you, right up my street, I’ll be listening to this track a lot!
I’ll send a recommendation back to you if you like this sort of thing – Vikky Navarro’ Baila is a great track – I got confused and thought it was her San Marino entry but it wasn’t – it would have been in my top 10 for sure.
Oh yeah, that’s really good. I also love Leimannoia and Latente from your San Marino picks.
4 Melodifestivalen finalists. I guess Sweden did a good job this year. Thanks.

Vale? 7th? Really? You continue the legacy of wiwibloggs being jury at countries whose culture can’t get and destroy that country’s good potential at the contest
Oh ! I stepped on Evangelia’ fun club! But it’s too early in Sunday morning! Did they eat their cereals with milk yet?
