On Thursday 15 May, 16 acts will compete in semi-final 2 of Eurovision 2025. Each of them will be aiming to secure one of ten spots in the grand final.

Following the release of all songs back in March, we asked you to name your favourite to win this second night of the song contest.

You made your voices heard, submitting a total of 14,607 votes.

Now it’s time to reveal the result…

Finland’s Erika Vikman is a favourite to win Eurovision 2025 semi-final 2

The crown is adorned on the top of Erika Vikman’s head.

Representing Finland with the seductive number “ICH KOMME”, the star quickly emerged as a favourite amongst fans and the bookies.

This has translated into this poll as well, where Erika picked up 2,164 votes — that’s 14.81% of all those cast.

Second position on the podium is JJ from Austria. He might be singing “Wasted Love”, but there’s no short supply of love for this opera meets techno track. The singer received 1,857 votes (12.71%).

The bronze medal is awarded to Miriana Conte. The star has been “SERVING” [redacted] ever since she competed at Malta’s selection show. Despite a kerfuffle about her song title, there are still plenty supporting her corner — she was the only other act to receive more than 10% of the vote, securing 1,587 votes.

Based on the results of this poll, the other acts who y’all have chosen as qualifiers are: Israel, Greece, Lithuania, Ireland, Australia, Denmark and Czechia.

That would leave Luxembourg, Latvia, Montenegro, Armenia, Serbia and Georgia packing for their flights home.

Just because everybody is on board with the operatic techno and the serving sl*t … there is no need to state you don’t like them, right? You just focus on the songs you love and move on… Why do we feel we have to state negative statements all the time? Is “not liking” far more enjoyable than “liking”?
