Patrick: Wonderful! What a cozy song that bridges mellow music with magnificent atmosphere. The Common Linnets are an amazing duo who really know how to sing—and how to sing with each other. I love the LED background and the staging: The tree behind them includes a loving couple. It’s a great song with amazing vocals and a lot of positive darkness. Thanks Netherlands!
Wiwi: This looks expensive and incredibly well-planned. The simple LED will stand out in a field full of electrical explosions, as will their perfectly blended vocals. So many artists hire in backing vocalists for the show. But it’s clear that Ilse and Waylon know each other—and each other’s vocals.

When you read all the positive comments now, after yesterday.. It is possible that The Netherlands are going to win!
Great song and performance. Real quality music.
NO CHANCE PACK YOUR GUITARS
But now people in the Netherlands actually begin to think that they can win…
For me this is one of the most underrated songs of this year and a real dark horse. My guess is around 8th place for the Netherlands, with major jury support. The end result will be majorly influenced by the position in the final draw. The classiest entry this year I think.
looking at their performance gave me a deep sense of longing and i don’t even know what they’re singing about lol. very, very good.
I forgot to mentioned that wiwi should have wait a bid for their jury review on this one, I think that they deserve a better jury report when you have seen the hole picture know, they really, really do!
But hey, you guys where not the only ones that where negative at first…we should learn from that in the future…we should not judge so fast-:)
They’re soooo great!
One of the best songs in 2014 (is in my top 3).
Is great to hear something so calm and relaxing in Eurovision…
Awesome vocals!
They NEED to be on the Final
sry my bad english.

@Armenian guy
Glennis Grace was in Eurovision 2005, and yes, she is great!
Holland send Glennis Grace to ESC next year .I found her recently and was surprised knowing that she is from The Netherlands ,she is like second Whitney Houston!
BIG sorprise! I love it, my favourite rehearsal today
Proud, very proud!
I told everyone from day 1 this will be the dark horse, that they will suprise everyone, and they sure did.
Without any gimmicks on stage, a risky song choice and just their perfect blending voices and fantastic camera shots they make this song so intimate on a huge stage, they deserve a BIG spot on the finale!
Perfect 2nd rehearsal! Happiness and quality singing together that is what it should be in de 1st semi finals. The birds may fly out more often (refers to last years ANOUK). Dress RETRO COUNTRY for ILSE and BAND makes it COMPLETE. Keep it up and you might reach the TOP 10 in the FINALS. It is the quality of singing together that makes this song an OUTSIDER.
Nederland deserves to qualify, this song is remarkable, I absolutely love it….
So hope it qualifies..
Not a winner, BUT so deserves to go through compared to other songs in its semis that are nearly assured of qualification 🙁
As for The Netherlands when they win, and it’s only a matter of time, I’m sure they would host a magnificent show!!! Is this their fifth winner, no, but a great song 🙂
I think it’s time that the Dutch stop whining and complaining about this entry. The song is a matter of taste, but how Ilse and Waylon are handling things in Copenhagen is nothing but professional. They will give Europe 3 minutes with intense visuals and a sincere song. I am proud of my country
Her dress makes her look like Big Bird from Sesame street. Shouldn’t she be in jeans for a song like this?
Not much to write about here. The only selling point of such an unsuitable song is the background which sometimes looks childish and sometimes sublime.
Killer dress
Thank you Wiwibloggs!
