Does he make you ‘dizzy’ from his pop bangers? He certainly will, on April 7th when he performs at the London Eurovision Party! Yes, the United Kingdom’s Olly Alexander will perform at his home pre-party at Here At Outernet, and bring his electro-pop anthem “Dizzy” to the stage.

The triple threat artist from The UK is beloved in his home country, and the definition of a pop icon. We’re sure the British crowd are going to go wild for their entry live.

Who is Olly Alexander?

Olly Alexander is without a doubt one of the biggest names in the UK pop music scene. He fronted the band Years & Years for over a decade, scoring two number 1 albums and another inside the Top 5. Hits like “King“, “Shine“, “If You’re Over Me” and “Starstruck” catapulted him to top-tier fame in the country. He has experimented with more chill vibes such as “Eyes Shut” and then brought high-energy bops via “Sweet Talker” with Swedish EDM giant Galantis.

He has performed with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Elton John, and even The Pet Shop Boys. One could argue “Dizzy” sounds like it was inspired by the latter with it’s retro-electro vibes. His star-status means he even has a waxwork at Madame Tussaud’s in London.

However, Olly isn’t just a musician. He is an acclaimed actor, having been nominated for a British Academy Award (BAFTA) for his role in Channel 4 drama It’s A Sin. Olly played one of the lead characters Richie Tozer, through a heartbreaking tale depicting queer youth going through the HIV/AIDS crisis. He was revered for this work, among other roles. One thing is for sure, he is great on camera and has the charisma to wow at Eurovision.

London Eurovision Party 2024

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom. It is also one of the biggest and most classic shows on the Eurovision pre-party tour. It’s been going from strength to strength over the years, and this year it celebrates it’s 15th edition in style at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London, known for it’s artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself. You can expect to see many more announcements coming very soon of 2024 acts, and past Eurovision favourites.

The London Eurovision Party will take place at Here at Outernet on Charing Cross Road in London on April 7th 2024. There are still some tickets left to the show here. Be sure to get there quick though to avoid disappointment, as availability is very low.

I’m spurred on by the vocals on the live version which Olly has done for vevo

He’s sounding great. The song is written for his range and I’m liking the live drumming.

I’m still craving a ESC edit of the song as that ending just leaves me thinking, oh was that it!

I agree, he sounds good, but it does need oomph.

Olly. Contact the Pet Shop Boys to appear in your grand final performance on the spoken section of the song. You need an impact. Get then to build a good ending to the song as well!.

It would tie in nicely with the release of The Pet Shop Boys new album out on April 26.

He can also bring Dua Lipa as a backing dancer and Adele dressed up as a tree for a prop, nothing will help the fact that it’s an extremely mediocre and underwhelming song.
