On Saturday, Susan Aho and Johanna Virtanen, the duo known as Kuunkuiskaajat, claimed victory in Euroviisut 2010, Finland’s national selection contest. The blond songstresses held off competition from Nina Lassander (second place) and Eläkeläise (third place), both of whom Wiwi’s readers predicted would finish in the top three.
You can watch a video of Kuunkuiskaajat below. Wiwi has a strong feeling that the group’s strong folk sound (and accompanying violinist) went down well with voters still intrigued by last year’s Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak. Will Eurovision 2010 feature even more folk groups this year? Wiwi is getting his fiddle ready! xoxo
