Yesterday the full list of 18 artists competing in the Finnish selection for Eurovision 2015, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) 2015, was leaked through Spotify and now it seems The Voice of Finland winner Siru might be disqualified.
While the UMK team were investigating where the problem was, they found out it might not have been an innocent mistake.
The producer of the show Anssi Autio said in a recent interview with Finnish tabloid Iltalehti that it might have been one of the record labels who leaked the full list on purpose.
But that’s not all! Eurovision fans around the world found out that one of the competing entries, Siru’s Mustelmat, was already available for listen on Spotify last night. Autio says that if this was done purposely, The Voice of Finland -winner Siru might get disqualified from the contest. SCANDAL! No decisions will be made until the investigation is complete.

I hope they don’t disqualify her… It is a potential winning entry sang by a potential singer! It would be a crime!
This song will never be disqualified, I mean it’s very special, commercial, sounds modern and it keeps the official Finnish language, which makes it a one with strong potential for the Eurovision!
Hopefully Siru will be in for next month’s UMK heats…
I see there….Really un4tunate if this happens to her… If the rules are broken then i really do not know what can be done to save her and not have her eliminated from the finnish NF.. This scenario have happened already with how many songs in our own NF in Greece… But you can’t do pretty anything if there is a rule that applies 4 a song to not get released before an actual planned date or else there will be consequences 4 this.. If all 18 songs were leaked and available for everyone to access, it’s likely that none of them would have been disqualified, but since one or several songs got an early advantage over the other songs, this means that the notion of fair play was desecrated and therefore Siru could end up paying for something she or her record label might have nothing to do with. In any case, YLE needs to get to the bottom of this because there is obviously a mole within the system…
Siru’s song is the best in UMK 2015 by far. I hope they have their minds not to disqualify her
I hope this isn’t true. Siru’s song is wonderful and Finland would be crazy to disqualify her.
