Patrick, our Malta and Austria correspondent, lives on the small island of Malta where he moved all alone by the age of 17. He’s been a Eurovision fanatic since he first watched the contest in 2006. A seasoned orator, he placed second in a nationwide speech contest 2 years ago and won the top trophy last year back in Austria.
