On Sunday Elhaida Dani — Albania’s Eurovision 2015 singer — dropped some major Alicia Keys pitch perfect piano realness. Appearing on Top Channel’s “E Diell” show, she ended her interview with a live, acoustic performance of “I’m Alive”. She had the audience spellbound and set the hearts of Albanian Eurofans racing. What a talent!
Elhaida Dani – I’m Alive (Acoustic Version)
During the interview Elhaida did not reveal how she plans to stage her performance in Vienna. She wants to keep the performance a surprise and we can’t blame her. She kept her official video and Eurovision song under wraps, and that freedom — away from the glaring spotlight of criticism and opinion — helped her create a masterpiece.
This year’s slogan for Eurovision 2015 is #BuildingBridges, so naturally Elhaida has been thrilled to see the warm response from a number of people in Serbia. Even if the countries have their political differences, they have found common joy in her song. For that she is very grateful.

powerful voice <3 gooo amazing Elhaida .. 🙂
Elhaida has an amazing voice. The extraordinary vocals, the very special personality, the fact that she like no other gives her heart out on that performance ….she is already a winner. She makes proud all the albanias over the world.I know God is on her side.
In love with this song.Amazing voice.
i actually find it very beautiful this snippet bcs it shows that her vocals is right on the money i wouldnt mind if Elhaida makes a beautiful rendition to her song and show more of her vocals bcs r beautiful soul and brings lots of emotion to the spectators, power to her voice and talent absolutely potential to win ESC 2015,Good luck Elhaida and i hope you r gonna surprise every1 LIVE with your amazing skills.
It’s “only” in 8th place in my top, but I wouldn’t mind Albania winning. What a voice!
Switzerland will probably give her 10 or 12 points I think.
What an amazing singer and preformer! Albania is My absolute top favorite this year! 12 points from Israel 🙂
What a voice <3 #TeamElhaida
You can call it the legacy of Conchita: so many amazing vocalists this year!
However I do think she picked the wrong song to showcase her voice. In the regular version it’s much faster and there is no time for vocal acrobatics like that until the end.
Wow. Just wow, that’s all I can really put into words for this snippet. Stripping back the performance and showing off vocally would be a pretty smart choice if she can do it for the semifinal considering she’s plopped in between Denmark (middle-of-the-road schlager) and Romania (emotional but not vocally acrobatic). It’ll set her apart, and give Russia’s Polina a run for her money in the second half. The scary thing is we have four (Greece, Russia, Armenia, Albania) huge vocal ballads (five if you count Serbia), so I wonder if the public would be cool with sending all of… Read more »

I love the song, but for me this performance is a bit over the top.
Elhaida is definitely a dark horse to win this whole competition (along with Slovenia). Definitely my favourite entry this year. <3 #Shqiperia
