It’s finally starting to feel like Junior Eurovision season! Today Montenegro have confirmed that fifteen year old singer Jana Mirkovic will represent the country at JESC 2015 in Bulgaria. Mirkovic will perform the song “Oluja”, which translates in to English as “Storm”. Pack your umbrellas!
Jana won’t reveal her entry until a later date, but she is apparently a multi-talented artist, playing both the piano and violin. A native of the capital Podgorica, Jana has also attended dance and ballet schools.
In an interview with MNE Magazin, Jana said she’s looking forward to “giving her best…to introduce children to Montenegro”. Hopefully her best efforts will take her further than her predecessors as JESC: Masa & Lejla finished 14th in Malta with their effort, “Budi dijete na jedan dan”. Jana seems philosophical about it all. “When you love something, you can achieve it all if you want,” she says.
There’s some real talent behind the song too: “Oluja” was written by Boban Novovic and Mirsad Serhatlic, who was part of the team behind Serbia’s Eurovision winner “Molitva”. This follows the pattern from Eurovision 2015, where Serbian star Zeljko Joksimovic wrote the Montenegrin song “Adio” for Knez. If borrowing from your neighbours works, then we say why not?
Are you excited about Montenegro’s choice and the team behind Jana’s song? Let us know in the comments box below!
mistake Graic wrote Slovenia entry in 2012 not 2010
Composer of serbina winner entry Molitva Vladimir Graic ( also composer for Slovenia 2010 with Hajrudin Varesanovic who sing for Bosnia 2006) ,Graic compose and serbian entry in 2015.
Lyrics wrote Sasa Milosevic Mare (composer of serbian entry in 2011).

@ Deniz
Oh ok then 😛 hehe
@Mario
Oh, I actually was talking about Armenia. haha.
@ Deniz
Well yeah…For Montenegro to do that not with their entry in adult Vision but in Junior Vision gets too much…Why not revealing the song today along with the singer so we won’t wait any longer?
Well personally i do not really care anyway so whatever..
Looking forward to hearing the song. Excited that someone involved with Molitva is working with it. Molitva is one of my favorite Eurovision winners.
@Mario
Wasn’t it only the singer? I thought that the song was going to be revealed too, but apperently not.
Well they had to reveal the song TODAY & not make us to have to wait any longer…
Armenia was expected to reveal the armenian entry today so what happened??
Patrick S, I already did the poll too. It looks like they are going to debut with more than 80 percent of the “yes” votes.
About the article. I think this year there will be a lot of girls, like last year. And “Storm” will probably be a ballad.
Yay!
Nice to see Montenegro back. But what about a German debut?
