Jedward have revealed a tougher side with their new video, “Oh Hell No”. Inspired by the upcoming film Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No, in which Jedward have a small role, the Grimes twins get seriously badass with the trap-inspired rap tune.
Fresh from their European airport Jedhug tour, the new video sees John and Edward lurking in a gloomy alleyway. Despite being close twin brothers, in the video the two have some serious beef and they’re settling their tension both through music and a bit of a street fight.
The song is full of sass, showing a darker but not surprising side of the Irish twins. After all, John and Edward have  been surviving in the cutthroat world of showbiz for six years now – that takes strength. “Oh Hell No” serves as a warning to all sharks out there, marine or human: Jedward ain’t afraid of you.
Despite being known in Eurovision circles as singers, Jedward are also experienced rappers. Their debut single was “Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)” with a guest appearance from Vanilla Ice. In the five years since, they’ve become skilled MCs and deliver the spirited lyrics of “Oh Hell No” with confidence and attitude.

Hmm. I like it but the flow is a little dated. Unless they’re committed to this Vanilla Ice Ice Baby style of music (I hope not) then it’ll be novelty.
They’ve been selling it so it’s not bad (I said I LIKED IT) but not quality. And I wont get into the MV…

Still waiting for the “Jedward announce Eurovision return for Ireland” headline. RTE should just internally select them, it would save money on the stupid Eurosong Special on the Late Late, valuable funds that could be put into the staging.
I am sure of it, that with a good song (Swedish produced), they would get back into the Eurovision final. They have a large number of fans in the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Austria….which means votes.
