Eurovision is over and Azerbaijan’s Elnur Huseynov is now resting in Turkey. He was in Antalya last week with Ebru Gundes, who coached him on The Voice Of Turkey, and this week he is back at home in Istanbul. He’s been hanging with his good friend and in-demand model Senem Kuyucuoglu, who’s known for her anything-goes attitude and penchant to party.

So it was only a matter of time before the “Hour of the Wolf” singer found himself in a bit of trouble. According to tabloid Sabah, Elnur and Senem went to Istanbul’s Cihangir district earlier this week for a bit of fun after the sun went down. The magazine claims the duo had a drop too much at the bar and ended up annoying the other customers. Policemen allegedly warned them to quiet down, but they didn’t stop. Senem reportedly shouted, “Don’t take my pictures, don’t look at me” and “My head is beautiful, don’t touch!” The magazine claims onlookers and staff exchanged harsh words with the pair.

In response Elnur has shared a video on his official Facebook page with the caption “Real story!!” to set the record straight. The video shows him and Senem using salt and pepper as microphones, and they then walk around asking staff if they were ejected from the bar. Of course everyone says “no.” Elnur ends the video with a message to the tabloid: “So we are both good people. Please just do your job. Be ashamed!”

Despite de-bunking the magazine’s claims, Elnur hasn’t convinced all of his fans the story is fake. Just check out this message from one of them.

We love how Elnur has stood up to those trying to throw shade on his good name. A part of us wants another tabloid to write something so we can watch another fun video response!

I don’t see what the big deal is here? We all get drink sometimes and say stuff we don’t really mean. If he was being egotistical while he was sober and acting like a diva then that is a different story. I still love him and wish that he’d be my boyf ???????? I just hope he doesn’t act so immature in future. Hope the hangover was worth it Elnur <3

Senem Kuyucuoglu is really pretty. Definitely worth getting thrown out of a bar for.

Uhh I hate him so much! He has no commitment to his singing. He got drunk before the semi final results were announced and he smoked during rehearsals! Seriously? Is that the level of commitment towards his voice? He shouldn’t have qualified and he shouldn’t have been allowed on stage. Yuck.

There are different publicity stunts..
But in how many cases it gets too much & make someone to look desperate for some extra attention..
Really pity about Elnur when he is such hot hunk..

This is all just politic, everything becomes politic they just want publicity, attention, promotion etc…..ridiculous…I bet they enjoy this and see it as an opportunity, well sorry Elnur you didn’t even get to the top 10 in Eurovision even though it was your 2nd attempt, before eurovision in one of his interview he said he knew conchita was going to win eurovision and that his song is like conchita song and he is gonna go for victory, how arrogant was that, and how arrogant for him to play trick to appear like this after eurovision sad sad sad I regret… Read more »

Just WHATEVER dude… If he really thinks that high of himself then it gets too much.. I really can’t bear that kind of ego on singers.. He should be grateful for all these achievements he has made in EuroVision.. Other singers deserved more his qualification final place.. And the 8th place for his 2008 very overrated song was definitely undeserved result.. He is so good looking that others would kill just to have that beautiful face he has.. He enjoys popularity & fame…He must have earned enough $$ money all these years during his music career.. And the fact that… Read more »
