Ieeeeieeeeeeeeo! Edurne, the Spanish representative from Eurovision 2015 in Vienna, has said that she would return to Eurovision in a few years, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Her disappointing 21st place finish deserves revenge…

The tigress made the comments in a December 12 interview with Spanish celebrity news site Non Stop PeopleShe also gave RTVE a gentle nudge, saying that she’d love to see hunkalicious singer Xuso Jones, a comrade from YFSF, sing for Spain at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm. We don’t know if Xuso is keen. But with Edurne’s desire to return now confirmed, it looks like quite a queue of stars is already forming outside of RTVE HQ for future editions of the contest. (Hey, Ruth).

Edurne also discussed what it was like being a judge on Spain’s version of Got Talent, which will air imminently. Apparently she had mixed feelings about her role assessing whether total strangers had talent and she didn’t relish putting people down, saying “it wasn’t as easy as it seems”. That said, she’d happily join the judging panel of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” if she were ever asked.

Our girl is not only about TV. Edurne discussed the big screen, revealing that she would love to take a selfie with actor Johnny Depp. Among her other dreams is having a Whatsapp group with Beyoncé and P!nk. Maybe then she could tell her new BFFs what it was like mimicking them on YFSF!

TIGRESS IN TANZANIA

On December 13 Edurne appeared on “Planeta Calleja”, a well-known TV show hosted by Jesús Calleja (Spain’s answer to Bear Grylls). Edurne traveled to Tanzania for the show and climbed Oldoniyo Lengai, a volcano considered sacred by the Maasai people.

EDURNE DOES A PERISCOPE WHILE SHOOTING

The tigress had to be fierce to reach the summit some 3,000 metres above sea level. But she got there in the end. “It was the toughest physical experience I’ve ever had,” she says. And we thought she’d say it was second to being spun around Giuseppe’s neck at Eurovision

We seriously feel like a couch potato every time we learn how busy this woman is and how much she can handle at one time! Guilt and self-flagellation aside, would you like to see Edurne back at Eurovision? Do you think that Xuso Jones would be a good choice? Let us know in the comments box below!

Para ser ARTISTA, la verguenza no sirve de nada.

She can come back as long as she brings Giuseppe with her 😉

That idea of the power ballad A-team is hot but wouldn’t work. Still, Pastora+Edurne+Ruth(+Giuseppe) would be good for the Spanish Eurofans even if I can’t quite see how it would work on stage. If I could only take one of them, it’d be Pastora, but all three are quality.

She must do a ballad next time and no more cliche gimmicks like Loreen’s and Pink’s.

I don’t get the hype with her performance…people who say she didnt deserve 21st place are probably judging the studio vocals rather than her vocals during the GF. But anyway i’m happy she isn’t discouraged and I hope if/when she returns she’ll have a song thats better suited for her

Her performance was mediocre at best which so the 21st placing was deserved but still a huge let down for such a strong song.
Better luck next time.
