Agnete didn’t just break the ice — she crushed it! The Norwegian stunner won Melodi Grand Prix 2016 — Norway’s selection for Eurovision 2016 — and will represent the country in Sweden with “Icebreaker”. The song is written by Agnete herself together with Gabriel Alares and Ian Curnow. The Icebreaker lyrics discuss her love — dare we say obsession? — with a man she just can’t get off her mind. “Every night, before I sleep, a shiver down my spine — thoughts a light, what can I do to make you listen?”

Baby, just read him your resume! Agnete has done a lot already despite her young age. At 14 she won MGP Junior with her band The Blacksheeps with “Oro jaska, beana“. The group also took part in Melodi Grand Prix back in 2011 placing second with “Dance Tonight“. Recently Agnete won the Norwegian version of Dancing with the Stars (Skal vi danse) and played the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.
