“You” from Georgia’s Tornike Kipiani dropped on Monday, completing the line-up for semi-final two of Eurovision 2021.
The journey began way back in December when Albania selected Anxhela Peristeri and “Karma”. And we’ve had a whole host of genres in between.
Eurovision 2021: Semi-final two line-up
The 17 semi-final two acts range from schlager throwbacks to modern melancholic pop. We’ve got violent pop and dramatic chansons. Rap, bubblegum pop and ethnic dance bangers all feature. However, only ten of the 17 will make it out of the 20 May semi-final and into the grand final.
- Austria: Vincent Bueno “Amen”
- Czech Republic: Benny Cristo “Omaga”
- Estonia: Uku Suviste “The Lucky One”
- Greece: Stefania “Last Dance”
- Iceland: Daði og Gagnamagnið “10 Years”
- Moldova: Natalia Gordienko “Sugar”
- Poland: Rafał “The Ride”
- San Marino: Senhit “Adrenalina”
- Serbia: Hurricane “Loco Loco”
- Albania: Anxhela Peristeri “Karma”
- Bulgaria: Victoria “Growing Up Is Getting Old”
- Denmark: Fyr & Flamme “Øve os på hinanden”
- Finland: Blind Channel “Dark Side”
- Georgia: Tornike Kipiani “You”
- Latvia: Samanta Tīna “The Moon Is Rising”

Poland rafal brzozowski The ride
Serbia of course <333
3) San Marino
Austrian here. Austrian entry would b my Nr 12
Drop Serbia for Austria and you have my fullest approval.
Please pay attention to the portuguese band, the vocalist is amazing and ready to impress with his vocal skills. On the other hand, I find the georgian guy quite handsome and attractive 🙂
If contest for Sex Appeal, Georgia’s Tornike would b my Nr 2 after Czechia’s Ben Kristo. Unfortunately quite disappointed by Tornike’s entry whole Ben’s Omago is touching me. Concerning Portugal: excellent handicraft but it doesn’t reach me.
I love the georgian guy too, he has something brutal and raw xD
i didn’t listen to any national final entries, but esc radio introduced me to ‘saudade’ a few days ago … and i really can’t get it out of my head, yet. i feel like portugal chose the wrong one. but it’s still nice to see them pick something that isn’t sold by the meter.
Finlande.. douze points!!!
Why the 2nd sf? Where is the poll of the 1st? Anyway, here’s my top10 of sf2:
5. San Marino
Guess they’re still waiting for Belarus
My top 3 Poland Finland and San Marino !
I think the three posible winner of Semi 2 are Finland, San Marino or Switzerland.
Well, right now Greece has 3200+ votes. If Stefania managed to make her fans vote her here on Wiwibloggs (I expect till May that she will remain first in that poll), is she able to persuade them vote her in the contest? If she is able to have that appeal on the votes too (remember the majority of Stefania’s fans are not Greeks or Cypriots, but Western-Europeans) she will totally slay in Rotterdam, by the time the major problem for Greece in the last years isn’t being underrated by juries (as this was the problem in 2018,2010-2014, and 2016, where… Read more »
You forgot a big point, nobody cares about her. She is absolutely not famous in Western Europe.
You also forgot a big point too.. Duncan Lawrence in 2019 came from a talent show and nobody knew him before either.. So your argument don’t work sorry
So you adopt the Donald Trump strategy and write non-sense ?
Stefania might win the Eurovision like Duncan did. However saying that she has a fanbase so big in Western Europe that it could make her win is either a wish or a lie.
Lithuania will win
I see them 2nd after Italy 😛
So you adopt Trump’s silencing strategy of anyone who don’t agree with you? However convincing people that Stefanias song is no good and cant reach top 10 and why not win is either a wish or a lie
Please go back to school and learn how to read… You look very confused…
1) no on is silencing you but do yourself a favor and stop your non-sense.
2) Where did I ever mention that Stefania’s song is not good and could not reach top 10 ?
You are not helping Stefania with your attitude…
Please do not tell me what to do you are just reinforcing my silencing argument.. You seem far more confused than me.. 1) You have wrote bad comments about Stefania that nobody cares about her and that nobody knows her especially when for her age she has done so many things in Netherlands why you are just a nobody yourself typing in your little phone about someone that you don’t know neither you have done at least a basic research for to see how talented they are. 2) You are the one above arguing first with someone who is trying… Read more »
Go back to school and learn how to read. You are so confused and paranoid…
No more arguments to my logic calling people names so weak.. Glad I shown your attacking methods, next time please respect the artists, they all deserve our respect and don’t call people ‘nobody’ is simply not nice. I prefer to be ‘paranoid’ and kind to people with talent… Hope you learnt something new today!!
You did not prove anything… Nobody cares about her and she is not famous in Western Europe. Being slightly famous in the Netherlands and in Greece is not being famous in Western Europe. That’s not a lack of respect to state the obvious… You are the one thinking that being not famous is being a ‘nobody’ (life is not black and white) or having no talent. I never attacked Stefania on her skills or talent … I just stated that she has absolutely not a huge fanbase in Western Europe which could make her win the contest because once again… Read more »
Did I miss the poll for SF 1? Or is it pending for Belarus song ?
Let’s face the reality, Greece should win.
You must get out of the matrix !
Why should we get out mate Matrix 4 is coming this year are you mad? Leave Matrix alone cant wait to watch it..
But maybe leaving the matrix is the plot of Matrix 5 ….
Lollll I have a better plot for Matrix 5 don’t worry, we welcome you to Athens 2022..
So you are basicaly saying that Eurovision in Greece in 2022 is the plot for a movie and therefore not a reality… Interesting.. who is the one sugesting that Stefania winning ESC 2021 can only be fictional now ?
I am simply going to copy and paste your first message on the top of this forum and people can make their own conclusions what you did say and triggered my reaction.. You now explanation can be received as an apology which is fine but be brave enough to admit. Thank you but I have a brain so do other people so no point trying to manipulate your bad attitude towards a young but talented artist..
Your first comment: “ You forgot a big point, nobody cares about her. She is absolutely not famous in Western Europe.”
“It’s time to realise. I don’t do business like that […] I’m never good at breaking up. But you’re not my type […] Boy I need you to stop. Could you cut me off?”
Once again, not being famous in Western Europe is nothing negative, chill and go back to school to read properly. You would have understood long ago that I actually like Stefania and most of her songs but that pretending she is famous in Western Europe is just not true.
Next time you like somebody please don’t call them nobody thats all.. Is all good
I literally never said she is a nobody… There is an enormous difference between not being famous in Western Europe and being a nobody… Plus, even being a nobody does not mean being talentless…
I would be more than happy if you can prove me that she is famous in Western Europe.
Guys stop arguing, it’s a good song let’s keep it civil please and let’s try not to insult each other or the artists because I also dont like calling people names or saying they are nobodies. May the best song win. Peace
My ranking is so much different than the rankings from everyone else hehe
1st – Serbia
2nd – Austria
3rd – Albania
4th – Estonia
5th – Latvia
6th – San Marino
7th – Czech Republic
8th – Portugal
9th – Greece
10th – Switzerland
11th – Moldova
12th – Poland
13th – Bulgaria
14th – Iceland
15th – Georgia
16th – Finland
17th – Denmark
Btw, this is Ireland calling 🙂
Hmm this is more difficult. I don’t think Israel will make it. Not sure about Australia. I can’t see Ukraine not qualifying. Very sadly I think Vasil will be out.
We can agree to disagree but I think Serbia is a certain qualifier
Have listened to Portugal’s entry again – it’s just plain beautiful! A tune with a voice to match it! By far the best vocalist this year!
I think this is the weakest semi ever, i only like 1/2 songs in this semi
Agree! Only three songs I find myself able to listen to: Iceland, Portugal, Austria!
with the exception of Estonia it´s equal to my prediction
Even I could qualify in this semi…
If you sing like Loreen, I believe in you haha
Stefania is a huge fan of the contest, no surprise she visits wiwibloggs and asks her fans to vote. It was so cute last year that she was replying in comments on Youtube and on sites xD. Its just a poll and nothing prevents other artists from sharing too if they want. I am actually glad she is leading this, she is my favourite this year, and shes only 18! I dont think she will win the semi ( unless the staging is SPECTACULAR ), but theres absolutely no harm in sharing a Wiwi poll. All the votes dont come… Read more »
This is true, let the haters hating
Someone in the comments below, said that Greece’s stage performance is gonna be as epic as Russia 2016. Fingers crossed!!
Why so many negative votes on my comment above? ? lol
well who already! the biggest stefania fan-boy…[email protected]
question: if belarus is disqualified or ends up withdrawing, would someone from sf2 be put into sf1 considering there’s only 15 in semi 1 but 17 in semi 2? i feel like it’d make more sense to do that in that case but what do i know
There’d be 16 in semi final 1 and 17 in semi final 2 actually.
What Frisian friend told rn
I hope this happens, because there are so many songs in semi 2 that should qualify!
Why u blame stefania and Greece? I think that she deserves the 1st place..or the top 5 !why u hate this song ?
1. Finland (I love rockmusic btw)
2. San Marino (who would have thought?)
3. Iceland (Its fun)
4. Switzerland (THAT vocal)
5. Greece (reminds me of 2005-2011, the days when Greece was the True powerhouse of ESC)
6. Austria (Underrated again)
7. Latvia (much better then last year)
8. Bulgaria (Decent)
9. Portugal (VERY underrated)
10. Estonia (if the perfomance is the same as in the national finals then sure, why not?)
and the last one it will be blank and open for some of the other countries depending on performance and stagings.
Stefania, honey…You can ”win” every single poll here (via instagram stories), but Eurovision – NOPE!
Omg ..u are so toxic!!!
I like Denmark and Poland the most. The rest is just meh.
Funny that you call the others meh when Denmark and Poland are the epitomes of MEH this year 😛
I can have my own opinion like everyone else here
If I had a choice then the ten songs to go through would be (in no particular order):
Portugal (severely underrated)
My wish list – Five absolute: Iceland, Portugal (!), San Marino, Austria (!), Bulgaria – the rest I don’t care about. As far as Switzerland is concerned – too much of a copy from 2019 and Arcade.
Roxen with Amnesia is my winner!
Televoters will get amnesia when it comes to vote for her 😛 😛 😛
I loved her songs last year, but her song now is not instant at all. And her pronunciation is terrible
I respect your opinion, but wrong semi
Switzerland is my number one from this semi.
I love many songs from this semi but my favorite is Finland since day one, following by Switzerland, Estonia and Austria
Yesssss great taste!
What do you think about Italy?
-In the mood for middlefinger these days, so Finland is also my Nr 1 in 2 nd semi, but as also feeling the Desire to be close to somebody, Benny Kristo’s Omago my Nr 2.
My 10 Qualifiers: Albania Bulgaria Czech Republic Finland Greece Latvia Moldova San Marino Serbia Switzerland My Opinion on the non qualifiers: 11th: Iceland – Disappointing compared to 2020, sorry but originality isn’t art 12th: Estonia – The glow up from 2020 though ? Anyways still not my cup of tea 13th: Austria – Hoping for an upbeat bop, got my hopes too high 🙁 14th: Poland – Sounds like it copied a million songs, it’s meh 15th: Georgia – Nooo he has such a good rock voice :(, why this 😛 16th: Denmark – Too old fashioned, not for me… Read more »
Please don’t downvote as well, this is an opinion!
What a strong semi final, compared to last year. Austria: I felt that I was the only one that enjoyed last year’s entry, and I like this one too, but it doesn’t stand out in that line-up Czech Republic: what a catchy tune!! Definitely on my list and I hope for another qualification Estonia: huge improvement but still I miss something.. i wish him luck Greece: Holly moly guacamole, a bop, definitely a dancing along catchy tune Iceland: He delivered for a second year in a raw. Love his quirkiness Moldova: I liked last year’s entry and this one too.… Read more »
What a strong semi!!! At least 4/5 entries of this will be top 10 in the final, and at least 2 top 5!! It will be hard….
From what i see, i think people are not looking in a smart way. Portugal in this semi will place between 7 and 12, why? Cause the song will be able to win jury votes and also they have Spain, France, UK and Swiss voting.
which are the 4/5 countries who will be in top 10? and which 2 in top 5?
Swiss, Bulgaria, Finland and Iceland/Greece in top 10. Top 5: Swiss, Bulgaria…maybe Finland!
Portugal and Denmark will do better than expected by digital fans.
I really like Denmark but I can´t see big chances for them
Agree with Denmark. But not sure for Portugal.
denmark screams last place in the semi.. i can’t imagine a single jury member ranking it in their top 10. but i could definitely see portugal qualifying
Lol. Unless they do a “Belarus” or the lady from Alcazar!
My prediction for qualifying (in alphabetical order)
You could replace Georgia with Austria and Serbia with Moldova.
Unpopular opinion: Czezhia has one of the absolute best songs this year!
If Czechia doesnt qualify then there is no justice in the world. Song is so catcy and contemporary and the effort put into the video is amazing. Also singer is really charismatic and handsome. Deserves to do well overall 🙂
Benny he’s a very very good performer he deserves to do well.
He has the most generic song possible
I’d take a good ‘generic’ song over a bad original song any day.
Okay my friends I need some help here. It may be because I have blonde hair. Somehow I do understand why some of you like Greece, but can someone explain to me the hype around Moldova and Bulgaria. Cause I don’t get it, I really don’t!!!
People like Moldova because it’s fun, sexy and catchy, and people like Bulgaria because it’s an emotional ballad that can move them.
Be positive about songs to be downvoted, be negative and you will be upvoted, welcome in the eurofans’s world.
Your opinion, but the “nightmare” team has made much better job this year in the 3 countries they are working too (Greece, Moldova and Estonia). Still I kinda hate Estonia and I’m pretty sure that Moldova might have staging problem, but Greece is going to slay. Also, in the Greek song, the dream team didn’t have the main role in the songwriting process, by the time there was also ARCADE group, a group of very talented artists like Anastasios Rammos (artist that has many hits, like “An Me Deis na Klaio” with Helena Paparizou and “Se Dio Mono Matia” )… Read more »
I’ve heard that Dimitris Kontopoulos wrote the melody of the song (which was a ballad btw) and then ARCADE built on it and made it 80s pop song. So Kontopoulos had the main role in the process and then ARCADE worked on his idea and melody. Also, ARCADE is a group of people, if you’re gonna start naming people it’s only fair to mention them all and not just Anastasios Rammos. Anastasios Rammos is also a singer so he often gets all the attention but there are other 5 talented members in the group that are hardly ever mentioned. So… Read more »
Yes in every forum you make it very clear for Greece.. But actually he said the opposite for Greece that he gets why should qualify why you are saying you agree with him and you don’t get why Greece should qualify? Very sneaky for someone who is obsessed in every forum slagging off a specific country.. Just saying..
Haters gonna hate, especially if the hate is not towards the song or the artist or the music production team, but it is towards the country it represents.
what does you having blonde hair have to do with you not liking moldova and bulgaria?
She perhaps wants to say that because she claims she is idiot, why people love Moldova and Bulgaria.
Crappy joke that blonde-haired girls are stupid smh
I kindly ask you if Stefania didn’t want to represent Greece, but went with Netherlands and the song she chose (Last Dance) was written Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeld and Anderz Wrethov would she be again in your bottom 5 or it would be in your top 5? Cause right now everyone is hating on Switzerland, Malta, Sweden, Cyprus, Iceland, Bulgaria and Greece because they have massive fan appeal. That’s pretty annoying and totally against contest’s motto (OPEN UP)
My top 17.
3) Portugal (unpopular opinion)
4) San Marino
10) Czech Republic
I hope my first 8 will qualify even though it is unlikely to happen with Portugal. Latvia, Czech Republic, Albania, Serbia and Poland can fight for the 2 last spots in final. The 4 remaining countries are out imo.
My running order:
Okay my friends I need some help here. It maybe because I have blonde hair, somehow I do understand why some of you like Greece(not a fan of it) but can someone explain to me the hype around Moldova and Bulgaria, cause I don’t get it!
Why is Malta not featuring on your list?
I know it’s a bit silly to do before the show, but my qualification predictions are like, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Iceland, Finland, Czech Republic, Greece, San Marino, Serbia, Latvia, and Moldova. Albania I say is borderline and could swap with a couple of those.
For the first semi it might be Lithuania, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, Ukraine, Ireland, Croatia, and maybe Belgium. I think the first semi is harder to call because you have some solid songs from countries that have missed the mark on staging as of late so it could go either way.
My top 4:
Makes me wonder where you’re FROM 😉
Benny is underrated af. And deserve to end up high in final. And no. Im from Poland
I’m from Portugal. The caps on the czech are just because I copied and pasted it! LOL
Here are my ten ideal qualifiers:
Switzerland, Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland, San Marino, Serbia, Finland, Albania, Czech Republic, Latvia
Running Order prediction…
Albania , Georgia , Portugal , Bulgaria
4 slower tempo songs will not be clustered. I think it’s going to be 2,1*,2,1*,1,1*
The asterisks being Denmark/Finland/Latvia
Time for a toilet break AND a make a cup of tea!
What I think is likely to happen…
4. San Marino
14. Czech Republic
In your 5 unlikely, Portugal, Austria, Georgia, are very good vocalists they could impress.
Samanta Tina too.
It’s Eurovision, they’re usually all good vocalists. I think those songs will struggle and are unlikely to qualify over the others, especially considering Georgia, Austria, and Portugal are demonstrably not countries that are able to acquire enough votes to qualify with only a mediocre song. I think Samanta will qualify.
I mean a good song but with bad vocals could struggle to qualify and an average song but with fantastic vocals could qualify instead. Yeah I admit that normally each participant should be a good singer but it’s not always the case unfortunately.
San Marino 2019?! As in bad vocals and mediocre song.
I’m sure Benny will qualify, he’s great live and song is catchy. Most likely one of the “bops” will flop, they’re too many and no juries will back them all!
I do not get for the life of me why people keep severely underrating Benny Cristo….he’s like a 75% chance the way I realistically see it
THANK YOU exactly. Yes, his song is more of a grower which isn’t usually the safest strategy for Eurovision but everybody keeps forgetting that he is not a “singer” he’s a PER-FOR-MER. It’s not a coincidence that he’s been one of the biggest names in music in the Czech Republic for quite a while, I’m expecting a great show in Rotterdam. I’m Czech btw, you can trust me he IS good.
I can say that the opposite is the truth. Czech Republic usually struggles with the televoting, with the only exception in 2018 – and in the semifinals of 2019 (even though in the final they got like 7 points) which semifinal had particulary televoter unfriendly entries . Now that they are in a strong semifinal (it’s not weak as many people will say) they only have Poland as a voting ”ally”. If the song was really good to stand out against all the others he would have no problem, but if he is one of the opening acts it is… Read more »
My personal ranking…
3. San Marino
13. Czech Republic
I like so many of the songs this year that I really can’t choose.
By the way, Georgia’s song deserves more votes, come on peoplez… don’t let me down. 🙂
If Latvia was a fight, Georgia would be another one 😛
I must say I like Tornike so much, he is such a good singer.
