Ronela Hajati isn’t just a Eurovision 2022 contestant. She’s also a massive Eurovision fan. We saw this first-hand on Wednesday evening during our backstage livestream at Festivali i Këngës 60.
Ronela stopped by our table after her killer performance of “Sekret” and fielded a question from our YouTube follower ESC Harmen, who asked, “Ronela: Do you follow the ESC national finals and other events?”
She didn’t skip a beat: “I’ve followed Eurovision since I was a baby — since I remember.”
She then went on to sing three songs, including “Bandido” from Spain’s Eurovision 1990 alums and Benidorm 2022 participants Azucar Moreno.
“I love that thing!” she says of their iconic vocal snap. “They had a video with a black horse and the red flowers…”
The other two songs that sprang to mind were both from Israel: “Diva” from Dana International (1998) and “Kan” from Duo Datz (1991).
Which other Eurovision songs would you like to hear Ronela cover? Let us know in the comments box down below!
Cover the following songs: Under the ladder (Ukraine, 2018), Outlaw in’em (The Netherlands, 2018), Mall (Albania, 2018) and Stay (Norway, 2012)! 😀
Thank you 🙂
She’d be happy to hear about Postureo 🙂
